The main principles are usually attack before being attacked, disarm and finish your opponent as soon as possible and take the role of the agressor in any kind of encounter with the potential danger to you, regardless whether your opponent is armed or not.
@SawYeR2626 Krav maga in my opinion is considered more of a philosophy in fighting, very much akin to Jeet kun do. It makes use of any technique at the time thats most appropriate. It makes you the aggressor because the situations it focuses on are life or death. Thats why the isreali Masad created it. While most conventional martial arts spirit is to generally for health and for self defense. Krav Maga was created mostly for killing lol. At least thats the way I see it. I might be wrong.

@headstrong420, Reporters was only a joke to Rampage. One played it off later, but be a professional and respectful to women. The other one later wrote how she wanted out by asking more questions, but Rampage kept doing it. Don't forget what he did to other people in Japan. About the TUF guy, it was Darryl Schoonover, who was harassed by Rampage from day one. Drinking energy drinks doesn't excuse one's behaviour so not sure why you keep using that as defense.
I love both fighters but honestly this was a very humble interview. Jones answered all the questions and played it safe. I will admit that sometimes he has a smugness about him but this time I didn't notice it. I can't wait for this fight!

I love Jones, and I love his fighting style, but he is in no way Humble. Melvin Guillard is an exciting fighter who rather stands than take people down. There are sooo many other fighters who take down and do nothing BUT score points, Clay G, Jason M, Nate M, Karo P, GSP, Aaron R, and the list could go on. @SawYeR2626 Well actually what I know of Krav maga because its really not that popular and main stream is experience with Isreali special forces and they use it in a manner to nuetralize weapons and deal with multiple opponents at once. Its not a "Style" so much as a way of attacking defending and neutralizing multiple assailants. I hope your intelligent enough to understand that. Its ok to talk shit, but when its unfounded its just plain stupid. I see it happen to to many young black guys.

The main principles are usually attack before being attacked, disarm and finish your opponent as soon as possible and take the role of the agressor in any kind of encounter with the potential danger to you, regardless whether your opponent is armed or not.

@SawYeR2626 Krav maga in my opinion is considered more of a philosophy in fighting, very much akin to Jeet kun do. It makes use of any technique at the time thats most appropriate. It makes you the aggressor because the situations it focuses on are life or death. Thats why the isreali Masad created it. While most conventional martial arts spirit is to generally for health and for self defense. Krav Maga was created mostly for killing lol. At least thats the way I see it. I might be wrong.

@masterscheme1 no, you're right. like my master says, "its the art of killing refined with elements of basically every martial art out there". It uses a very unique approach to fighting and self defense. No offense, but I've sparred/rolled with MCMAP black belts before, they are really not on the same level. I mean its a great program but i think you guys need to mix it up a bit, especially with strikes.

@headstrong420, Reporters was only a joke to Rampage. One played it off later, but be a professional and respectful to women. The other one later wrote how she wanted out by asking more questions, but Rampage kept doing it. Don't forget what he did to other people in Japan. About the TUF guy, it was Darryl Schoonover, who was harassed by Rampage from day one. Drinking energy drinks doesn't excuse one's behaviour so not sure why you keep using that as defense.

I love both fighters but honestly this was a very humble interview. Jones answered all the questions and played it safe. I will admit that sometimes he has a smugness about him but this time I didn't notice it. I can't wait for this fight!

I think they just didn't know what to do, and a gentleman should keep his hands and primal thoughts to himself in a professional setting. He's done some very similar things in Japan too. It amazes me how many people are jealous of Jones. He is the most talented athlete in the UFC today. Also he made it to the title without going through all of the top guys! He skipped Forrest, Machida, Rampage, Rashad, Tito, and Thiago Silva. Yeah he had 6 wins and a DQ/win in the UFC before he got the title shot but he didn't fight any of those guys on the way up. I personally think all of them except Thiago would give....cont..

I love Jones, and I love his fighting style, but he is in no way Humble. I think the fight will be a great one mainly due to the fact that Rampage hits like a truck and Jones has a habit of leaving himself open after some of his more flashy attacks. Rampage will find that opening and let fists fly. I'm going with Rampage on this one.

Melvin Guillard is an exciting fighter who rather stands than take people down. There are sooo many other fighters who take down and do nothing BUT score points, Clay G, Jason M, Nate M, Karo P, GSP, Aaron R, and the list could go on. I know Greg Jackson is only doing what will get the win, but its boring and fans like myself who pay for every PPV and buy tickest when a MMA event comes to Australia, I want to see competition of MMA not just wrestling.
