are these standard size paragliding kites, or are they down sized a bit, I need to start doing this, and I need more info.

no they are downsized.. have seen them doing it and the gliders are definitly smaller than normal ones.

Those wings are less than half the size of normal paragliders. Also the shape is quite different. (closer to some skydiving canopies)

The sport is potentially very risky and it defenitely makes sense to first gather some flying experience with paragliding or skydiving.

Eighter way, you should start with a rather big and forgiving canopy in easy terrain.
