Yea, I have an iphone 3g, had it since september 2009. Sirously I am really getting tired of the iphone and I have rooted mytouch 3gs, and g1s before. The Nexus one is really an amazing phone, its powerful, and you can root it (rooting is kinda like jailbreaking ). Rooting is cool because unlike the iphone ..... you can change the core clock of the processor, and there are many tweaks. Also the iphone is really sluggish since they came out with 3.0

I'm on AT&T, with a year and some change of contract left. The iPhone 3G that I got subsidized (right before the 3GS launch, unfortunately) finally kicked the bucket. I'd love to switch to Verizon and get a Nexus One due to their superior infrastructure, but I can't afford buying the phone, and paying the termination fees and such.

Before I run out of room, I think I'm going to get a Nexus One on AT&T here soon.

I ordered my Nexus One the very day it was released for rogers' network. Rogers does NOT give any special Nexus One phone plan. You have to buy the phone at its retail price from Google himself and then buy your own phone plan with rogers.

currently stuck with a samsung eternity until next february :\ since then i've become very interested in cell phones so i have been waitin to upgrade forever. since the N1 is sold unlock i plan to save for it and have that replace my samsung eternity (THANK GOD) then i will be rockin the N1 and getting into rooting til feb when i can upgrade, at that point i can see how far the iphone android webOS and wp7 has come to make a decision on my next phone or maybe wait out longer and stay with the N1

With subsidy and data plan for 24 months, you shell out $2000 but if you buy it outright, you pay $530 and then it is your choice if you always want to keep data plan. or you can activate/deactivate data plan whenever you like.

Reason why Nexus One hasn't sold so many is because #1 it's not available in stores and #2 it was pretty much TMo exclusive as far as carrier choice.

It's an absolutely amazing phone. The build quality is top notch and the screen is breathtakingly beautiful and sharp. Under direct sun with the highest brightness setting I absolutely no problem seeing everything. Don't let the negative reviews of AMOLED under sunlight, steer you away from this device.
