It seems like the most famous icons ever always seem to die over suicide, cancer, or drugs. It's a shame. I love Audrey and Marilyn Monroe. Even Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, The Beetles, and The Doors were icons to music. It sucks to lose the best icons the were around.
Possibly my favorite scene in a movie crowded with great scenes. What fantastic chemistry Grant and Hepburn had together! (Of course that was each star's genius--they both were wonderful no matter who they played opposite...) This movie makes me wish Grant had worked with her in "Sabrina" and "Love In The Afternoon" as Billy Wilder clearly had wanted--both those male lead roles were tailor-made for Cary.
Even though he was old enough to be her father, Cary & Audrey make a VERY believable romantic couple. I love the scene where he gets peeved at her & asks her if she wants a spanking. She sassy...she asks him back if he wants a punch in the nose! In real life, Cary Grant later spanked his real-life wife Dyan Cannon (it came out in their divorce hearing - seems he was quite old-fashioned in the domestic dept).
watch Audrey's expression at 1:59-2:01 "I don't believe it" Thumps up if you think she is a darling!

amazing, especially "got you, HA HA" and "shut the door!- Oh, I'm afraid I don't know that one, miss" GREAT :)

The song that plays while Cary Grant is showering is called "The Drip-Dry Waltz" by Henry Mancini and it totally fits the hilarity of this scene
