Double Horse 9101 Balance Bar update

How do you take off the balance bar, the tiny little bar that keeps it together against the helicopters rod that connects the wings to the helicopter wont come out...

Thank you for your excellent video, I just got my DH 9101 today, did a test flight and it flew really nice, but I am sure with your suggestions and improvements, it will even be better.

Strangely the new ones only have one pinion notch on the balance bar.

Cheap and fast parts available from ferntech.co.nz. Also note the balance bar only has one connect buckle not two as stated. And yes you can add cut rotors to the rear tail blade, but if your learning it is not a good idea!!

Awsome video!! You just answered a ton of questions I had about my 9053. THANKS!! I plan on strapping my gopro camera to the bottom of mine and take some aerial photos of my property. Have you had any problems with the two large drive gears stripping out and/or screws loosening?

I will have to disassemble my 9051 heli and 9053 because i crashed them both :(

Never done this before, just bought all new pieces off the internet but am truely afraid to start doing this lol.. Long time I don't play around with LEGO!

I read that this model has problems with balance, and after a while, always flies down. Is that true? All copters from Double horse have this problem. Maybe better will be buy syma s031g?

@559ste I buy all of my parts from eBay. What helicopter do you have ? Your helicopter should have a parts list and code numbers, type the code numbers into eBay and you will get a list of spare parts for your helicopter. They are very cheap, if you buy from China they can take up to three weeks to arrive but again they are very cheap !

I have been given one of these!

It just needed new blades or so I thought.

I have tried it in a light breeze as its always abit breezy where i live.

I cant get the heli to fly forward even in a realy light breeze!

can you think of any reasons why, the rear rotor does spin?
