When I was in high school I drove an 85 Z28 camaro with a 327 in it and I thought that thing was the shit. It ran 12.7 in the 1/4 pretty consistant. Then one night one of these pulled up next to me and I didn't really know much about them but that thing blew my doors clean off!!! Lol I respected 4 cylinder turbo's from that night on. Now I have an 03 WRX and I absolutely LOVE it! Power to the turbo 4's!!! lol sweet ride man.

Ofcourse i had a stock integra at the time so i was like eh what the hell if its a GS i have nothing to worry about. First run i had em by a car, right away i knew that wasnt a gs lol. 2nd run he got me by about 4 cars, he popped his hood and sure enought..the beastly 4g63 was in our faces and in a AWD setup

cause they decided to concentrate on the US lancer. remember evo was only available in japan during 1990-1999. So in the US eclipse was top of the line and AWD. once the lancer evo came out their was no need for 2 high performance awd mitsu's. thus the retarded sohc V6 eclipse GT was created.

The Fast and the Furious car? Look closer. The Eclipse in that movie wasn't even a turbo. It was a 420a powered GS or RS with a cold air intake, and no intercooler (so no turbo). This car has a real 4g63.

You could but u would pretty much need the whole entire front clip off a 2g gst. You'd have to change innerfenders and ofcaorse motor tranny clutch axles exaust ecu wiring harness radiator I mean the list could go on and on.

It is controled by air pressure. It is to releace the built up pressure in the intake when the throtle body closes. The reason you need on is the pressure destroys the turbo since the back pressure tries to spin it the oposite way then the exhaust creating lots of stress on the chaft and the turbo bearings. IN short it makes your turbo last longer. By the way you do not loose HP with it.
