Erm.. well I think I'm a kind of "purist" because I don't think japanese should sing like americans or that americans should sing like japanese... variety should always exist, that way we have space to choose what we like.

Its like.. ok I want to listen to a j-pop song with a style similar to Core of Soul (or just want ot hear Core of Soul lol). Then I have to Core of Soul to listen to.
