- so there you have it folks, the family of the offender get to see him/her die and are treated like criminals themselves - this is only one of the reasons why the death penalty is wrong!

@JFCATRON That is NOT true - Look up the Willie Fancis Case in the mid-40's. After a malfunctioning electric chair failed to kill him, he was put in a second time which worked. His case went all the way the the US Supreme Court, with a legal precedent valid to this day. The previous practice of commuting a death sentence after an unsuccessful execution was always a tradition - not anything in the law.
