Hell yeah, I remember when I was on the 757, its took less than 10 seconds to take off. Then all of a sudden, in less than 20seconds we were already above the clouds
believe me thoseother ones can climb like mutha fuckers too dawg. it all depends on tha weather, takeoff weight, speed, etc. 757s dont always climb steep along wit any other plane. sumtimes u see 737s and erjs climb slow. its a regular thing. an a340-600 limit is 30 degrees wen its light. around 25 max with passengers.
You are right! I havent been in a B757 in a long time. Basically now I fly often de B737, A321 or Embraer E-90. Great planes. Loves them. But, to me, as an AA flyer, the B757 its a classic. Love the B767 as well.
boeing 757S have A SIM "737 CABIN LOOK" BUT VERY STREACHED INDEED THE BULLENT OF BOEING AIRCRAFT IS "757" THE PLANE IS AWSOME EVEN AFTER 26 YEARS........LOVE THE TVS IN THE CEILING. AND REAR GALLEY AREA OVERWING EXITS ROARING ENGINES AND LONG BULLET LOOKS
the roaring of those engines just make me want to put my ear right next to one on take off...lol it'll be the last thing i ever here, i'm cool with that
mmm...how does it feel? amm...ive never been on a plane b4...ne ways...hey...does it climb all the way till it gets way up high? or does it climb n stops at certain point n then starts climbing back up again? i wanna know =l
I like this video. I have experienced views like this on more then one occasion and personally I think there is nothing better then to be sitting behind the wing at takeoff and landing.
the flaps are set for take-off its bcuz they are like at 2 or 5 degrees you can barely notice them. PS. is that in the morning and the jet only needed a littl bit of runway it tookoff fast
sry its not a 737 its an A300-600 airbus.. the A300 is the only airbus i know of that AA has in its fleet.. one of the routes it oppearates is the MIA-SJU route
Actually they do. Since 1988, Airbus's were ordered for the sole purpose of doing Transcon and Latin American / Caribbean flights. Even though AA had the intention of getting rid of them, AA A300's are seen as the jewel for cargo revenue and passenger revenue on high density routes within the previously mentioned regions.
wait he did a catapult takeoff right? Correct me if im wrong

I remember taking AA651 (First Class) from MIA to BGI back in March. It was around 75 or 76F when we departed at 6:15...holy Hell, did she fly!
I was guessing they used a full power takeoff considering that A: it was warm and B: we had a full load (all of F and Y were full to the brim).

The 757 with RB211 engines has real grunt.

Guess he was loaded... Watch that speed at take off!

The 757 is a phenomenal climber compared to the 767 and 777.
I fly the A340 for Virgin and boy, that is one slow climber! haha

I am a big person ( 255 lbs. ) and want to know will I fit into one seat? Were there any over weight people on this flight?

Short field takeoff; the captain had the parking brake on with full thrust.

I love the strength of the 757, but it needs more leg room- i donno about the -300 series, but the -200 definently is too cramped.

I will never use American Airlines again. Since 9/11
I was actually on a American Airlines Flight From Logan International Airport the same time American Flight 11 departed!

any airline could suffer those attacks,I dont think american airlines give you bad treatment, you say that because you are scared, that is the reason

34 i checked. Would have been 35, but one went down via the Nov 12, 2001 crash. AA has no intentions of getting any other airbuses still...
