  • @spacefreak09 Cool!

  • Should work out well for Vicky's reverse ouns arse-over-tit "gamboling hypothalamus" murder attempts, but I'm not even breeding with this diseased paralised SHIT.

So , in the post 1996 apocalyspe that was "everything Winnipeg , Canada " and "police state everywhere", people were told who they could DATE, and had to start evvery sentence with "So?". POCYCPLISPE! POCYCLIPSE of the Public comfort zone of false opinion, versus the public's responsability to check into something.."Why should I?" screamed the public as they desttoyed thier own caste and Nation? "There are people who do that", yet if they do, "Everybody wins"

  • good times

  • 90s alternative rock is the best music

  • Phillip Rhodes (Original Drummer) got kicked out of the band for the same reason as Dough Hopkins...Alcohol.

Even though Gin Blossoms is one of my favorite bands, sometimes I wonder if firing someone from the band is the best solution to help a friend

  • @EddieAR and firing people from a band for drinking when there's a hard alcohol in their band name is odd

  • Comment removed

  • i was born in 1995 and this song is totally cool ! <3

  • Yeahhh...

    Empire Records

  • @Lucianoloucurinhas I was about to post the same comment til I scrolled! Great minds.....

  • I love his little smile in the beginning :)

  • so sad that he killed himself

  • @GodsObeOne who did?

  • Thumbs up for Pete and Pete in the begining.

  • The 90's was a GREAT decade, and a very refreshing comeback from the 80's. The 80's, and Reaganomics sucked. Unfortunately, we've returned to it. EVERYTHING was rolling in the 90's. The economy was booming, the music was off the chain, and people were finally mellowing out again for the first time since the 70's. Conservative movements stifle creativity, and unfortunately one of the first casualties is usually music. Bummer.

  • @jcleve61 Wow if I didn't know any better I would have thought that I wrote that. Well said I could not agree more

  • @jcleve61 Outstanding observation. However, I'd say there's still some good stuff being released today, you just have to find it. Most of it is not being aired on terrestrial radio.

  • I listen to this and Found Out About You and wonder if one of the guys in the band had some really awful relationships those songs are based on...

  • pete?

  • @franzchick66 No, Pete.

  • 2:13 I WANT THAT GUITAR!

  • Definitely like her (2:37)

  • Comment removed

  • que buen tema

  • How can one really prove one decade is better than others? You really can't give any accurate examples

  • @misinglink15 I can give several. examples of the 90s being a better decade Gin Blossoms,Pearl Jam Counting Crows,Toad the wet Sprocket,Black Crowes,Live. And that is just some of the music let's see what else?.Better economy, No wars that lasted for years and cost billions of dollars and lives. No paranoid feelings of terror attacks on US soil. Did I mention better economy

  • Somehow I always confuse these guys with Better Than Ezra although it would appear GB had a lot more hits

Also I used to have a friend who sounded EXACTLY like the lead singer in GB when he sang

  • Comment removed

  • one of the greatest alternative song.... most outstanding band ever...

  • Who wrote this?

  • Well baby I don't want to take advice from fools

I'll just figure everything is cool

UNTIL I HEAR IT FROM YOU. (everybody sing! :-))

  • It's fucking hilarious that practically every-fucking-noone thinks that "another" time was so fucking much "better" than the current one. It's all the fucking same: regurgitated. "No" time is ever any better than any other time. Times' r what they r, times. Good and bad. Good bands, not so good bands. Oh fucking well. Stop w/ "the 90's/70's/50's/1600's were the best cunt mucous shit. History, if you read it even badly (g. carlin) just repeats its' pitiful self, like u sheep keep repeating urslvs

  • @glenneveaux It would be nice if, 1) you made coherent sentences, 2) used correct grammar, 3) use correct spelling, 4) learn how to state your points without getting emotional. Just because your life wasn't always good, does not mean other people haven't enjoyed those times. Don't take it out on anyone else, because you are jealous. If you have a problem, keep it to yourself and just enjoy the music. It would be nice if you didn't swear every other word, or don't you know how to do that? Cunt.

  • @glenneveaux Are you crazy? Just because the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s had their own distinct cultural identities doesn't mean that this current period right now is just as stable or unique. You're thinking of history and culture in such a linear fashion, when in reality everything leads to an event and events lead to other events. History is not static or stable, that's one thing we can take from history. The world today is an unstable mess that no one could have foreseen in the 90s.

  • @glenneveaux Lol I'm not saying the 90s was a better time, I think we've made a lot of important and meaningful technological and social advances in the past 20 years, but there were some things that we lost along the way. Government stability being one of them, we can barely pass a budget in congress these days. That is serious.

  • @Sshelly34213 Doesn't mean 90s music isn't better. I think it's still kick ass. =D

  • @KemperFA24 True. To be honest, there is a lack of collective anything in pop culture, except collective blandness.

  • It's Pete from the adventures of pete and pete in the intro!

  • One of my absolute favorite intros!

  • the lyrics of this song are pretty good I mean the entire song is good guitar vocals its just a perfect for everyone

  • I forgot how much I miss the early 90's and how much the last decade-and-a-half has sucked for music in general! Back then it was "Substance-over-Style, now it's just the opposite! This is music you can listen to decades later. It stands the test of time. Kids today WON'T be listening to what they do now in ten years. That's a fact!

  • @jayanxiety Well said I could not agree more.

  • @baxtersave96 Thanks! The funny thing is, people who listen to most of today's music won't even have an argument for my statement. Hell, even if they found out that their favorite pop star didn't actually sing the songs (which does happen), they'd probably like them anyways. Substance in music is secondary these days.

...and what the hell is with that "robotic" pitch heard in most pop vocal tracks today? It's so annoying!!!

  • @jayanxiety One of the things that I can't stand are all these dance songs that don't have any instruments being played on them just that constant electronic beat. Also today's music is becoming extremly overproduced. One of the great things about the 90s music was most of the B.S. overproduced electronic crap was gone in favor of a more organic guitar driven sound.

  • These guys were amazing last night when they performed at Antone's here in Austin. I loved that Robin Wilson gave me one of his tambourines to play during one of their songs - I ended up playing that tambourine for a total of 3 songs. Loved it! :-)

  • God i miss the 90s!

  • This is one of those songs along with "Every Breath You Take" by The Police and "Linger" by The Cranberries that everyone just assumes is a love song without actually paying attention to the lyrics.

Great song though. Takes me back to happier times before terrorism and complete global economic meltdown. Back then we knew tomorrow would be brighter and grander than today.

  • This music reminds me of Jaded, the chord progression reminds me of that song by Aerosmith. I really love both songs, this song takes me back to Singapore when I was there from 1996-1998.

  • The lead singer reminds me of Ryan Seacrest and the guitarist of John Stamos.

  • 2 people are jealous and jaded.

  • chanel jade

  • nice song but the video??duhh

  • You lied the first time like Vicky did. You don't feel like you're in a prison at all. You're just not English.

Now shut the fuck up already, fluff thief... you'll no more ever be the genuine intended article than Middleton will be the Middle Piece.

"Everybody" wins...yeah, cause we're all the same, right, PARASITE?

  • WOOF WOOF, England. You and your fucking Kingmaker for the Stowaway... you wanted half ? RIGHT? Of whatever it would be? You got my exGF ripped in two in the Bin at Washwood Heath. That's a hotbead of Bin attacks isn't it now?

Fucking losers....parasite fucking losers. WOOF WOOF WOOF. Like the fucking Queen herself and the Ponsing "bad shot" Prince...

  • ...then getting some fucking nobody jick shrink try and add sign out sheets that was suppsed to mean anything trying to act like the inhuman treatment was an improvement BECUASE it was a day pass from HIS version while he had to try and pin the year down?

FUCK YOU. Cross stepping over the triangle..yet to see anyone else on Earth do that and live.

  • looks smaller, that dead triangle from vauxhall huh? now...

"...but you Visions boys, you all think you're all that."

Enjoy your Bin...you demented cow Patty.. there are your new "Party Pieces" stuck on Rosewood. Englands Rosewood.

  • Don't know what they told you after I left England. I don't care. It's what I told you when I went back to be welcomed "as a tourist".

Simply don't care... Sarah, Jane, "SISTER!" Power that was dismissed, don't care.

Uh oh, Joni Mitchell re-re-re-re-remake coming up...

  • i love it!!! It's my favorite song!!!

  • @Magnorion Also those GAP commercials were pretty good. Mainly the ones from the early 90's. They started getting kind of corny by 99.

  • @PJHunterTJ you are kidding aren't you? Bush and Reagan made the economy?

  • Comment removed

  • @grocer382000 I can see that your knowledge of the whole situation with the economy is about as "sharp" and accurate as your spelling skills, "Dude"!!!!! By the way....that is not LIBERAL!!!!!!! Dumbass!!!

  • @Magnorion The economy was so great because of what Reagan and Bush did from 1980 to 1992.

  • damn !! where has 14 years gone .........

  • My God... it's full of stars. Hey actually, its like that hot chick can just walk all over the 5's triangle...

  • The pagers!! YAY! The Motorola ! A classic accessory of 90's cool people except the only thing that ever came over mine was "007 911" so I left mine there. Anyone who owned one (even in the telecom industry) was labelled a drug dealer instantly by pigs everywhere. Piece of Pi?

    Toast?

    Screwdriver?

What are your "NEEDS" , Sir?

  • ...here's your cell phone, Your Majesty. I'm still waving lighters.

Sorry about the ashtray, I'll have it emptied if we can find it after the "CrUsHeR", which turned out, ironically, not to resemble a wrestling move.

And to the commenter below... yes, it TOTALLY takes me back.

Listening to the radio in my room all alone. Mid-90's. Beautiful.

Saw them this year. Great guys in real life. So genuine and non-rockstar-ish.

Mid-90's magic. Take care, all Gin Blossoms fans.

    They totally rock!
