The lion represents the King of Kings. The children go to war to fight the evil doers. Of course they wouldn't want evil to prevail. If you don't see it clearly, then maybe you should know that good triumphs over evil. It is portrayed in every movie, and every story. War is everywhere.

Lewis and Tolkin were great friends, they shared ideas openly and did have the same ideas running along the lines of fantasy. As sparringett said, Lewis wrote first, so it's not a ripoff either way!
Ben Barnes was gorgeous. He's a really good actor! I loved this movie, and the direction between Susan and Caspian was great. They could have toned down the fighting and heightened the relationships between the characters, but otherwise it was brilliant!

oh come on people really you have to fight over what fantasy movies are better? Everyone has different tastes in movies. Harry Potter is a lot more darker and full of magic. Narnia is for this kid in all of us and Lord of the Rings is well, for nerds I guess. But each film is good! As far as Hollywood quality goes, I'm sure a lot of people put Lord of the Rings above Narnia. Particularly because the Narnia movies have been called kiddish. However, basing the movie themes off of my Christian beliefs, I would have to place the movies in the following order:

Im going against the grain and saying this movie sucked the biggest (beep)! but dont get me wrong. the first one was friggin ama-za-zing (should have won an award) the second one it felt like Disney got ahold of it and ruined it with stupid Disney cliches. The only part i liked was the witch part. besides that the movie sucked. The Disney cliches individually arent bad but al together killed the movie for me(I cringed)

Ben Barnes was gorgeous. He's a really good actor! I loved this movie, and the direction between Susan and Caspian was great. They could have toned down the fighting and heightened the relationships between the characters, but otherwise it was brilliant!
