I just graduated IB, and I have to say, I'm glad I took it. Yes, those two years were full of homework, late nights, and stress, and yes, there were times where I wish I hadn't taken IB, but I'm glad as hell I did. I got to make wine for my Extended Essay. 'Twas awesome.

University will hopefully be easier after all of that...

at least give it a shot, but if you feel the same way by the beginning of junior year then that's when you should drop, it gets way harder between sophmore and junior ,the jump is ridiculous

Don't even think of dropping out. It's only a couple of years, and the benefits that will come after you're done are immense. Just make sure you don't take too many Higher Level Courses and you manage your time well.
