@ibitethedust Then I suspect that you're too young to remember the good old DOS and IBM-PC days. This is a very old commercial (probably before Windows 95). The Macintosh in those days was the first successful personal computer with a mouse and graphical user interface. Other PCs had a text-only interface. Windows didn't even exist, and even at that, it would take another decade for Windows to become quasi usable for most people.
ironically i find macs extremely hard to use
