Anyway, the Victory Column was actually built in 1864 to honor the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War. It has no inherent connection to Nazism other than the fact that Nazi's tried to adopt it as a propaganda symbol, but all German governments have done the same thing even before and after WWII.
