  • CANADA IS THE NATION - QUEBECK is A PROVINCE!! IF NOT - NOT ONE MORE CENT OF OUR TAX DOLLARS!! Federal or Provincial!

  • the sound quality sucks

  • Does anyone here realize Quebec DOES have a large English minority? It's even larger then the Franco-Ontarian minority. I just think it's bullshit I have to learn Franch at a level higher then the French students need to learn English.

  • Ignatieff holds no allegiance to any Nation, not even Canada!

Youtube Search: "Michael Ignatieff Declares Allegiance to USA "Republic , Constitution and its way of life"

    watch?v=yXiokrpoFHE

    Traitor from all sides!

  • I beleive that people who speak only English and people who speak only French and live in Quebec have no excuse being unilingual. They are in fact the same stuborn people but speak a different language. How can minorites like Italians, Greeks, Portoguese Lebanese, etc live in Quebec and keep their traditions and never lose their culture? If 5 or 6 million french people are not able to keep their culture then they should look at what they are doing wrong.

  • @yawillyyama

The Province of Quebec should replace Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) that made French the Sole Official Language of the Province of Quebec with Bill 199 (Charter of the French and English Languages) which would make both French and English as Co-Official Languages of the Province of Quebec. The Province of Quebec is not a French Unilingual Province but a French-English Bilingual Province. Quebec is comprised of 2 Cultures and Languages and not 1 Culture and Language.

  • The whole canada should be reconized as a bilingual country but the english immigration thats flooding the quebec is threatening the bilinguarity of this country. The control of the immigration should be at 100% to the provincial.

  • @aliasloane

The Dominion of Canada would have been 100% Bilingual had Robert Bourousa not created Bill 22 (Official Language Act). Pierre Trudeau did managed to convince the English Unlingual Provinces to accept his Bilingualism Iniatives and to make French an Official Language (Grudglingly) but these were nver implemented because of Bill 22 which Pierre Trudeau himself said was a "Slap in the Face of His Bilingualism Iniatives) So blame Robert Bourousa and Bill 22 for us not being Bilingual.

  • @aliasloane The Demographics of the Province of Quebec should change and be like this 75.7% Francophone 24.3% Anglophone The Demographics of the City of Montreal should change and be like this 58.8% Francophone 41.2% Anglophone The Demographics of the City of Quebec should change and be like this 68.5% Francophone 31.5% Anglophone The Province of Quebec should keep it's Francophone Majority but at the same time should have a very large Anglophone Minority like it should be.
  • @aliasloane

I respect the Province of Quebec as a Francophone Majority Province but I also respect that the Province of Quebec should have a very large Anglophone Minority. I believe that the Province of Quebec should have both English and French as Official Languages with the same rights and privileges. The Provincial Government, Courts, etc should be in both English and French. The Province of Quebec is an English-French Province and not just a French Province. Quebec is Bicultural/Bilingual

  • @aliasloane

You want the WHOLE of the Dominion of Canada to be Bilingual then all of Quebec's Language Laws should be abolished and Re-Establish English as a Co-Official Language of the Province of Quebec along With French. Believe you me the other Provinces are are hiding behind's Quebec's Language Laws not to implement Bilingualism and not to Establish French as an Official Language along with English. Abolish the Language Laws and the Unilingual Provinces will have no more execuses.

  • @aliasloane

I do not believe that the Provinces of the Dominion of Canada should be in control over their immigration. If more English Immigrants want to move to the Province of Quebec then they should be allowed to do so, if more French immigrants want to move to the Provinces of Ontario, Maniotba, Sakstchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland then they should be allowed to do so.

BTW. Quebec needs English Immigrants very badly.

  • @aliasloane

The only way that the English Language and Culture in the Province of Quebec can be protected by such anti-English bigots (Quebecois Voters and Politicans) is to radically increase their numbers. Only with a Large and powerfull Anglo-Quebec population will such laws like Bill 22, Bill 101, Bill 104 and Bill 178 be abolished and the Office Quebecois de la langue Francais (OQLF) be dismantled and English would return to being a Co-Official Language along with French of Quebec.

  • I agree. It is important to protect our culture but it is important to know the language of buisness. Even the japanese know it but they still have their official language.

  • Im a quebecer and i think english people have the right to protect their culture as much as we have. The culture is a part of us and we have no identity without it. Its disgusting that some people dont understand that, The separation is not about hate, its about fear, the fear of loosing our culture the the majority. There is nothing about racist, exept for the extremist separatist.

  • @aliasloane

The French Language and Culture did not die out when the English Language and Culture had the same rights and privileges and equality in the Province of Quebec. English and French were Co-Official Languages of Quebec from 1763-1974 (211 Years) before Quebec's Language Laws came around. If French was going to die out in Quebec it would have done in these 211 Years but it did not. I believe that English should be equal with French in the Province of Quebec like it should have been.

  • @aliasloane

The French Language was protected in the Province of Quebec before such anti-English Language Laws like Bill 22 (Official Language Act) of 1974 and Bill 101 (Charter of the French Language) in 1977. The Constittuion Act of 1867 Established both English and French as Co-Official Languages of the Dominion of Canada and it's Province of Quebec. The French Quebecois have nothing to fear if English is restored as a Co-Official Language with equality with French in the Province of Quebec
