I also found mention on the “Stop the Violence Movement” Wikipedia page of a 2009 extension of the project, but other than the few lines about it on the page, I have been unable to find anything about it. Any leads on that would be very helpful as well.
I am a college student doing a study of KRS-One's Stop the Violence Movements. There's plenty of readily available info about the 1988/89 movement, but I can find hardly anything about the 2008 movement. I've obviously managed to find this song, and I've found a ten minute video made by KRS about the 2008 movement , but I can't find any articles of any substantial nature Stop the Violence 2008. I would really be grateful if someone could help me out.
Such a powerful message that should be spread through out the world by more than just rappers or singers but the entire entertainment industry as a whole, including sports and various media outlets! This song is on point and big ups to all who participated!
nas and dmx should have been on this, really good song though!!

This track is true value. They should play it in schools after the national anthem.
