  • So when is this coming out & what's the name of the documentary?

  • whats the name of the: when you call my name, i couldnt explain? and whos the artist?

  • "When I call your name" by Stranger & Patsy. Check out various Trojan compilations...

  • Fools !!

    Does it matter !!

Even when we have music that brings people together, your ignorance and intolerence tries to take ownership of it.

Just fucking listen dance and enjoy !!

  • What ever form of music created by blacks, Ska, reggae, jazz, blues, r&r, r&b, Afro-Cuban, hip hop, etc., whites always want to pretend they had a hand in the creation of the genre, when they always jump on the bandwagon after the fact. They wouldn't know it or do it if Blacks had not done it first.

  • True. That is not to say that we have added our own influences into the genres as they progressed.. just look at 2-tone and third wave ska. But yes, by no means did whites create the genres they supplemented.

  • acitonj the problem is that on far too many occasions the supplements are deemed to be more important than the actual creators. Blacks have added their influences to classical, opera & country, but clearly these genres were created by people of European ancestry.

  • We can all be traced to Africa. All music made by the earliest humans can also be traced to Africa.

  • not true my friend,as a white man i am totaly in awe of jamaican ska,no one and i mean no one creates sings and performs this amazing music as a black man or woman, amazing stuff.

  • I have never heard anyone perform any musical style better than the actual creators. Because music tells of your culture and history and who does that better than the creator?

  • why are Europeans trying to teef-off black music? Europeans only had ballroom dancing.

  • when the cunt does this come out? i was at the show and had far too much fun. hope to see it soon!

  • man if you think this music is racist you are retarded.both white and black musicians are in it,its all about unity and where the hell do u get racism in this?

  • New Austin, Tx Ska Band

    myspace/ BennyVersusTheBeast

  • What the hell? Ska has NOTHING to do with racism. Keep that shit out of it. We already saw it with some of the English skinheads of the 70's.

  • your fucking retarded and i have to disagree witht he guy that said ska has nothing to do with racism too though

ska has everything to do with racism because ska is supposed to be against it and if it is for racism it is not true ska

also the original skinheads were both blacks and whites

    ska in racism out

    -kaptain krunch

  • dude i'm white. i like ska

  • por dios!!!
