@ 1.32 the climber steps on the rope (wearing sharp crampons) WTF.I have a rope that is un usable frome someone doing that.

@plumbmark Maybe but there was the only place to step. (beside they are sponsored by Petzl so they have a lot of ropes :) )

He kicks off one 'stalictite' so as to create a window and step out onto the next 'stalictite' (or whatever it is called) - but when placing tools and kicking front points, how come that massive icicle does not fail and fall?

because he is a lot more careful and when he is climbing and is swinging hard and kicking hard, it is a lot more solid.
