  • Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk, I'm a woman's man, no time to talk. Music loud and women warm. I've been kicked around since I was born. And now it's all right, it's O.K. And you may look the other way. We can try to understand The New York Times' effect on man. Whether you're a brother Or whether you're a mother, You're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. - Bee Gees, Staying alive, 1977
  • I wish i lived through this era... So unbelievably cool.

  • I love this song and the dance The Bee Gees are great and still are I lived through the 70s this takes me back

  • Because of clarkson, I thought it was bald headed women

  • WOOOW!

  • i'm 13 and i love the Bee-Gees all of todays music is crap

  • 129 Crazy Nazis dislike this.

  • ah... the 70s were a wonderful time to be a man or a woman. So many beautiful, real relationships... none of this facebook, chat, IM crap. One on One like it is supposed to be.

Now that is how you treat a woman, like more than a woman.

  • @crackatoe yes that is so true evrything always repeats itself yet will that REALNESS of relationships will that ever come back that's what i would like to see again just one more time

  • @crackatoe shut up, then why the hell are you on youtube posting comments if the internet is so awful...

  • @crackatoe ...you are my friend for life just for saying that. FINALLY someone sees it like i do. thanks

  • @crackatoe yes they were,i worked and frequented a place just like this one, belive my hair and waist was the same as his,i just wore a vest, and no back pocket pants, tight, and ladies looked and acted like ladies, and smelled like heaven,oh what a day,i so long for them,i watch this and just feel the day, best wishes fackbook?facefk, always remember and do,woman then as now,are ladies, knight

  • This film is timeless i'll be in my 90's and it still will be like it was filmed 5 years ago. Brilliant!

  • The lyrics are so deep, "We can take forever just a minute at a time" That was some heavy shit. Love it

  • Yes Sir..... I can boogie.

  • awwwww :3

  • the 90s came and erased all this gayness ahahaha.

  • Just listen to the words of the song...."we can take forever just a minute at a time".

  • i thank god i was born in 1960 and had to pleasure of being in the disco era... it was and still is everything you could imagine.. the dancing the music the fun and friends will never ever be duplicated... if the singers songwriter and producers of today would listen to this music they would get it and bring it back and let the goood times roll.. this was music and this was dancing.

  • I think I'm going to try these steps...yet need to lose weigh and my partner needs to practice lifting...

Really want to try those steps...

  • Im 18 years old, but i could be older if I could be on such disco...

  • @FruFan93 oh, if u could have only lived these days. so much fun

  • To those who weren't around then, it was everything you'd imagine it was, and then a ton more. This film was HUGE. A two-hour time capsule of the era.

  • oh lord I was born in the wrong time

  • You have to admit that is was classy and smooth. In fact it was as smooth as hot butter on toast.

  • LOVE IT !!!!!

  • i adore this song!!!!

  • Precioso, muy bonito, me recuerda a la música de Pekenikes, Karina, Los diablos, Formula V, etc...........! Viva la buena música !

  • love the song.........but hated the character that Travolta played in the movie............in particular, he was so cruel to the other girl who liked him......so I found it hard to like or feel anything good about him........the character was self-centered and uncaring of another

  • I love the song..........but I really disliked the character that John Tavolta played in this song...........I think that he was cruel to the other girl who liked him in the movie, and treated her awfully.......he was nasty, and I found it hard to like or feel anything him, as the character in the movie was so unfeeling to someone else

  • @ourlighthouse9 i see what you mean friend but remember that by the end of the movie he realised how wrong he had been and had come to realise what is really important....to treat people with respect and to think of others and not just yourself.....

  • Luv this song <3

  • im 16 and i live this song!!! just a couple of weeks ago i watched the movie too. its anaizing :D

  • This is the ultimate dedication song - groom to bride. No finer compliment. And if you can do the dance with her, then all I can say is WOW you're more than a man to me!

  • Omg if only there was people like that again...

  • beegees

  • quero dar parabéns pra paraense Mae que teve o assunto mais comentado no twitter chance brazil frase de autoria dela vontade de ........

  • I bet shes not even a woman

  • Peter Garret is much better at dancing.

  • lots of people can dance, but nobody makes me feel like its not gay to dance like John Travolta lmao!

  • It's hard to believe these days instead of these little romantic cute dances all they have is grinding, bad words, disrespect, booty shaking...ugh. I'm 14 and I want my prom to be like this... :(

  • @carlasaskia Wow I am so sad that young ladies like you don't have this today. i teach Charm and etiquette and I long for young ladies like you to expereince being wooed and not as you put it "Grinded"

  • @carlasaskia In 1977, they said disco (this) was crap compared to the "real music" of the 1940s and 1950s.

The younger people always take music in directions the older people can't understand.

With that said, this puts anything from today to shame.

  • q bonito baile , arrriva el salvador , puro 70;s

  • @carlasaskia

    you and me both

  • @carlasaskia and it is only going to get worse :(

  • @carlasaskia Respect to disco and respect to you! I hope for you your prom will be like that ;)

  • @carlasaskia haha...back in 1977....the older generations were saying.."THIS IS DANCING??? Its more like gymnastics"..times change....I agree with you however...

  • @carlasaskia Watch the movie, the whiny one knocks a girl up and kills himself when she won't get an abortion. Very romantic.

  • @carlasaskia then get friends that done do that ??

  • @carlasaskia it depends where you look. It also entirely depends on the person. I love this stuff, cheesy as it is.

  • Judy meet me at the Plush Horse iam buying. Vegas 1978 rember??

  • Guess you just have to have a hell of a woman to understand the meaning of this song. I got one. Has put up with my XXXX for 47 years. She' s my heart and soul.

  • musica ke nunca pasaran de moda año tras año siempre lo vamos escuchar

  • My coach plays this during weight training.. I stop working out immediately and start dancing in the middle of class, this song is my jam lol.

  • This may have been commented on - but here's a little trivia. This movie made one sweeping "fashion" change - no more sideburns for quite a while after this came out.

  • Im an 80's baby (85) but God I live the 70's

  • haha i only looked at this video because Marianas Trench sang this in a video so i decided i wanted to look it up

  • now i want to watch short circuit ... johnny 5 ALIVE !!

  • This is REAL music and REAL dancing. I grew up listening to this music cause of my parents. I wish I lived during these times. But I was thinking of doing this dance for my sweet 16, especially since I wanna be different and no one really performs this anymore. Its one of the dances.

  • Why isn't John Travolta on " Dancin' with the stars"....you want ratings!!!!????....crazy opportunity for them!!!!!

  • @k2ombs For one reason....A List actors dont appear on that show..only people grasping for attention and D list actors whose careers are over.

  • @k2ombs Great points, and I was also thinking that it would be crazy if he lost. He would not want to risk that even if they tried to convince him to compete. It would be like Mohamed Ali fighting 20 yrs. after his golden years, and risking a great legacy...."nothing to gain, and everything to lose"

  • This nigga can dance...

  • Comment removed

  • nope prefer the good dancing faster stuff

  • We no longer produce romantic guy and chick slow dance music anymore

  • Simply great music. think I saw it 7 times since the film premiered in Copenhagen in 1978, I was 16 years old, who loved disco and JT, and still do.

  • i love them and they will always rock :D

  • more than a woman is one of my favorite music ... and imagining me the woman and the guy dancing is me and my husband ... so sweet !!!! luv u dad!!!!

  • If it were only possible to go back to 1978 again when we might have had Ted Kennedy for president and this country might not have completely tanked.

  • absolutely amazing song.. nuff said

  • I was born on 80's but i really LOVE this music (bee gees, BoneyM, E,W&F, etc), is simply great and makes me feel good!

  • Oh' So romantic…it takes me back! T-Y xo

  • Good time had by all

  • me and my gf danced to this :) no were livin together

  • why cant we dance like this anymore ? this is so charming and romantic , not like girls grinding on men ...

  • romantic!

  • I dont like, I love......

  • This song, More Than A Woman, would make a great feature dance song at a romantic wedding reception while the bride and groom lead.

  • Karen Lynn Gorney was so fantastic in this fil..wonder why her career didnt go further?

  • Loved those disco days. I loved dancing to this music in the 70's. We wore dresses and heels to dance and did our hair up like Farrah Fawcett! So cool. The spinning lights, the dance floor. Wow. Nothing compares to it today.

  • @JRR0013 jRR I remember those days as well, they were magical, at least in terms of music and the atmostphere of the disco. it will come back. Discoss still exist, abliet they look liek rave parties these days, but more formal dancing and coordination will come back.

  • What a high voice!!!!

  • this is my dream prom night. :/

  • @novykhk then do it... if it's not too late :?

  • If you listen carefully "more than a woman" at some point, when they are singing it, it sounds like "Bald headed woman".

  • bee gees version definitely better

  • @sixstringsamurai88 There's was the original. All their songs are. They never did covers.

  • Bald headed woman..... hilarious! :)

  • @s2mikey LMAOOO IT DOES!

  • I will ALWAYS love disco, period. Guess how old I am on my next b-day? SEVENTY years! Saturday Night Fever is pure magic. Gotta love the BGEES!!!

  • THIS IS MUSIC MAN ......... 1970's THE BEST

  • la plus belle histoire d amour!!

  • ah i loveeeeeeee

  • Love it and the Bee Gees are epic and im 15 :) love this scene in the movie too xx

  • This has got to be by far the most amazing thing I have seen in a long, long time

  • TE ADORO MAMI ME ENCANTAS BESITOS Y SALUDOS

  • John knows how to eat two pizzas at the same time, dance well and most important: Opened disco music when most Italian neighborhoods used to think it was "Black Music" "N*****Music" "Disco suck"! John really opened their eyes

  • if u have not ever had this scene happen to you in real life, u have not LIVED, it's happened to me 2 times in my life, with 2 different people, you're soul and life live like they will never live again.

At 2:39 is the "look" u can only get to maybe once in your life.

High as a kite i saw her eyes and i was there.

  • @MrShannonJMacri thanks for replying. it's great to share something from that era. ****

  • Tha beautiful music ... No DJ's ... as they are known in our times ... my heart goes out to everyone. Than you for the post!

  • @MrShannonJMacri i'm w/ you man. this was beautiful. the 1970's were a decade of excitement. this version sounded better. it had violins mixed in it. i wish they would release this version. ****

  • Andy Gibb must have been hit in the nuts with a wrecking ball to be able to get his voice that high

  • It's Barry Gibb singing lead vocals not Andy...

  • @tick7146 Sorry about that, I thought that it was Andy Gibb because my dad goes "Andy Gibb!" whenever a Bee Gees song comes on. Thanks for letting me know!

  • @MetalGuy5150 Yeah Andy Gibb was not even in the Bee Gees.

  • Cocaine is a helluva drug

  • Back when dancing was classy and there was none of this grinding bullshit we see nowadays. I wish I was born around that time..

  • ooh! Stephanie! NICE SOFTWARE! :D

  • @250xrider1988 lol
