I saw these guys at a festival this weekend and honistly it was the best live set i think i have ever had the pleasure to see. they are inspiring to watch.... recordings just dont do them justice to what their like live... <3
@TheDaniiPop the 1 u saw was penguin cafe, started by the son of the man who started penguin cafe orchestra. 2 different groups. this group disbanded in 97'
Good golly gosh and all that. This just kept getting better and better as it went along. I'm going to have this stuck in my head for days, if not weeks!
a brilliantly crafted piece of everything you need in a tune, haunting uplifting atmospheric nonsensical you could use this as a soundtack to detonation of a nuclear weapon or a charlie chaplin chase and it will give a credibility to both .ABSOLUTELY PERFECT LISTENING . THANK YOU
@oldman91950 Wow-there are so many comments out there by so many people who ALL have something to say, myself included, but I don't think I've ever heard of one that said EVERYTHING that needed to be said, as succinctly as yours.
Amazing stuff, the best description I've heard about them is that they play musical poetry! I saw them live at the RFH back in the 80's, since then I know of at least 20+ adverts who have used their music.
is this the full version of this wonderful song? they used it in belgium on a docu series called Belga Sport about great sporters in the past wich i loved to watch.
Great theme for the ending of Napolean Dynamite, gave a positive feel going out.

If this piece of music doesn't move you, then you have no soul and are dead inside.

I first heard this tune as a volkswagon commercial in the early 90's, Is this the same group that performed in the commercial?
