  • someone might already asked this, but why did u put 2500k in there? h platform is not overclocking friendly. and ur not using the integrated graphics... so why?

  • @bilekas1 At the time, the H67 was about the only thing you could get and the 2500k I was able to get cheap.

  • @bimmermann18 i think you already know this, but try ebaying that h board and get zotac z board. dont leave that h50 idle. for its price it should dance for u ;)

  • Sir, you have a motherboard attached to your 590. LOL

  • This is awesome and I want to buy one.

  • This isn't mini :D

  • Jesus I wanna 590!!! Or 2X 580 ill take either one someone send me $1000!! I WILL SUCK VIRTUAL DICK

  • 0:50 lmao

  • What's ur gpu temps?

  • this may sound irrelevant but what is the song at the start, man it's really kickin:)

  • @dandini0698 Meowington Hax - Deadmau5

  • @bimmermann18 wow thanks mate

  • Looks awesome and I bet performs really well too... I want one of those! Would it be possible to fit a 7970/7990 in there?

  • @MrAlexJeremy 7970 will fit but, I do not know the specs of the 7990.

  • Intake on the top = very bad idea. You'll end up sucking in dust and the heat from the system would naturally rise, so you are keeping the heat in the system. Top fans should always be exhaust fans even with a radiator there. If you can i would put the radiator between the case and fan and use the top as an exhaust. The radiator and system will be cooled better.

  • Nice system, I've always loved these little monsters. BUT, and I'm sure this has been beaten into the ground already, but you definitely want that top fan EXHAUSTING rather than acting as an intake. You're creating positive pressure inside the case, and actually preventing a great deal of air from entering the system because of this. You want negative pressure, it'll be like a mini vacuum, and suck that life-giving cool air into your system. Pro tip.

  • Do you think that there's no reason to go from a gtx 580 to a 590 if i run games at windowed 1280x800?

  • in Soviet Russia motherboard goes on video card XD

  • still looks pretty big.

  • will this case fit an ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3 mobo ?

  • @metalmasterlp nope this is a iATX board which is even smaller then a mATX. plus it doesnt have enough PCI slots for all of them.

  • I have a mid-tower, but a mATX board. Can I install an aftermarket cooler or would it be too big for the motherboard?

  • i want that cuz its so small and that sis the only reason i want cuz mine is massive and makes tons of noise

  • Is this board able to overclock the 2500k?

  • very nice pieces of HW, u r only missing system SSD ;)

  • nice I5 2500k and GTX 590!

  • In this case you mount the motherboard on the card

  • how about the sound of the corsair h50?

    too loud with overclocking???

  • @abisoxth I can't even hear it. Usually when you turn it on and listen close, you can hear the pump circulating for a second.

  • Bro. Today i'm planning bur computer like thar.

    I7 2600K

    8GB DD3 ram.

    500 HDD.

    GTX 570.

What Motherboard and power supply do you advice me?

  • @kamkamovski Get a Zotac Z68 and an AX650 or seasonic variant. Just a note, the Z68 mini ITX boards are very picky with overclocking.

  • @bimmermann18 Thank you a lot bro. But i think 650w is low for these system requirements. I7 2600k + gtx570 :S or enough?

  • @kamkamovski You gotta take into consideration that since its a tiny system, it doesn't draw as much power as a fully loaded ATX board. With a gold 80+ psu, those things are overbuilt. On one of the EVGA forums, someone was running an i7 860 and GTX 480 on the Silverstone SG05's 450 watt psu.

  • @bimmermann18 He is right. It stays under 500w with an OC 2600K and 590, so 650 is wayyy over powered.

  • @bimmermann18 nice build man i would like one of these mini ones sumday i hate this big ass tower on my desk taking up room

  • @bimmermann18 does the zotac throttle as well? i own the asrock

  • @bimmermann18 Asus are good overclockers

  • if it okey im going to build almost the same, but not so biiiiig awesome gpu ;)

  • @hannes860 You could try a 7970 if you want striking distance of a GTX 590/6990

  • @bimmermann18 What temps are you seeing on the CPU?

  • thats what i call a powerfull mini-itx :D

  • How much for this build

  • @RANKHEADSHOT58 over 1k USD

  • @bimmermann18 what kind of temps were/are you getting on the GPU? just looks like it cant get any air to it when the power supplys in there

  • do bluray drives affect the game graphics quality more than dvd? better?

  • @jakesnake237 No. haha. the disk drive is only used to install the game, not run off. The only benefit of a blue ray drive for gaming is that the entire game can install off 1 disk rather than 2 or 3 DVD's.

  • how much ?

  • Woah, that is a cool computer, expensive though.

  • lian li pc cases are sincerly overpriced. they look nice but aren't worth the price. it's just a case man why so expensive is what i say to there company

  • @TheZarion007 because there's only so many ITX cases. These are considered luxury/non-mainstream cases. Also Lian-li is one of the few companies that have a very high QC and workmanship.

  • Whats the weight of it?

  • Awesome build. I’m considering bouilding a similar mini-pc for casual gaming, but with a Zotac z68, Corsair GT 120 SSD, H60 cooling and a smaller GPU in Radeon HD 6770. I'm doing this on the cheap, and will wait until next payday to add more harddrive capacity

But I have a few questions before I get started:

Is there a better case than Q08b?

    Any other options for cpu-cooling?

Also should I wait for the radeon 7770, which should come out in feb-mar?

  • wtf your nvidia is bigger than motherboard xD

  • Comment removed

  • Pukka little system, very different and looks to of come together well :)

  • o/ olha o tamanho da placa de video na placa mae

  • I'll admit, im impressed

  • Screw that Micro-ATX I was thinking to get, my new rig will be a Mini-ITX!

  • asus mars II should be in this build

  • great little rig!

  • Meowingtons Hax FTW!

  • very good work this has a very high appeal to lan gamers

  • epic LAN box :D

  • amazing

  • haha that poor little mobo! xD

  • lots of corsair goodness in it :DD

  • H67 + 2500k? SHAME ON YOU! Joke aside, why didn't you use a P67 or Z68 to unlock that bad boy?

  • @RemX405 i doubt there are MINI ITX mobos that have the p67 or z68

  • @NOXXism There are currently like 3 Z68 boards though from what I've heard they all fail miserably, I myself am waiting on the Gigabyte one(or another one if it comes out before that).

  • @NOXXism Well I saw some ASROCK mini itx boards with the Z68 chipset, could do the trick :)

  • Does the top of the PSU block suction for the radiator fan?

  • What about power supply? The video card would never get you good results without enough watts

  • @Alexeifinworks Corsair AX750

  • lmfao xD graphics cards are so crazy big now that I think about it.

  • lol that graphic card is even bigger than the motherboard XD, nice pc btw :)

  • @svenXDsven that's normal for a gaming pc

  • @GamingFlocka i think you mean for gaming pc's with a small motherboard, if you got a normal atx motherboard it won't be bigger i think.

  • @svenXDsven i have an asrock 990fx extreme3 (standard atx) with an xfx hd 6870 & the gpu is about 5 cm longer, all the HD68XX are longer than standard atx for sure, any lower wouldn't be that good for gaming.

  • @svenXDsven That's because the motherboard is a mini ITX. it's one of the smallest motherboards on the market measuring in at under 8" both length, and width. The graphics card is a stanard 10" performance series card.

  • @svenXDsven That's why It's called Mini-ITX ;)

  • bar none the cooles pc iv ever seen but that mini monster must get pretty toasty

  • Nice build. I am currently planning something very similar. What is the name of the track you used in your video?

  • @deepblue69uk Thanks man. Meowington Hax - Deadmau5

  • Damn, that's an amazing "Mini ITX".

  • would a h70 work instead of a h50?

  • @oblivionmaster911 It might fit, but I doubt it since the radiator thickness is comparable to an H50 with a standard 120mm fan.

  • a 2500k???..... why?.....

  • @L0rdsprinkl because its a gaming machine... thats why

  • this is pretty cool. where are you trying to start your company

  • @CatHatMen Massachusetts (Boston area)

  • @bimmermann18 you're quite a ways away then. im from Idaho

  • @bimmermann18

the spirit of massechusetts is the spirit of america, the spirit of what old and whats new.. :D

  • nice altoids amplifier (i think its an amp from what i can see atleast

  • @SOAPYL96A1 Yup. Best $60 weekend project. Drives some Sennheiser HD 555's and its both portable (9v battery) and stationary (12v psu).

  • @bimmermann18 see im a good mind llike you

    :) :) :)

  • @bimmermann18 Nice nice dmaan but i have one question, how much money did it cost?

  • power supply?

  • @sharkpyro93 Corsair AX 750

  • @bimmermann18 how's the cables management?

  • @sharkpyro93 there's enough space inside for that??

  • nice build bro, and thank for sharing.

  • can i put an i7?

  • @HackerManiac1 You can use 2600/2700k on it. The reason I have a 2500k on it is because I got a good deal. You can still push the turbo mode (limited overclock) up as long as its an i5/i7 , even though its an H67 board.

  • @HackerManiac1 yes you can a i3 i5 i7 with socket 1155

  • Put a 128GB SSD for system and games and I'm sold

  • :57 as you can see here he plugged his motherboard into his graphics card

  • 0:56 lol do you want a mother board with your graphics card

  • Very Clean Build :)

  • @PCMau5 Thanks

  • what about the watts consumption?

  • @bugniabricco Haven't checked with a kill-o-watts meter, but my guess is around 450.

  • Oh glad I saw this, I was deciding on that watercooler or a low profile cooler since I am building a HTPC inside of an Apex AD1200 DVD player case - that tubing would make it impossible. Sweet build btw..

  • nice

  • Its a nice system. I don't understand why you need a giant hard drive if all you are going to do is play games on it. A 100 gig ssd drive would probably better than a drive that is best suited for storage. But to each their own

  • if i understood that right, you are blowing the hot air from the h50 in the housing... is that clever? i don't know ;)

  • Why did you buy a K version of the 2500? for a H67 motherboard?

  • @jolichja I got the K version for $160 on sale. Even though your limited for overclocking, it makes more sense if you can get a better chip for dirt cheap. Micro Center is a excellent place for big discounts on processors.

  • @jolichja I got the 2500k for about the same price as a 2300. If needed down the road, I could just swap the processor with a standard model.

  • The motherboard to graphics card size ratio is ridiculous! xD

  • Wait... you flipped your exhaust fan to pull air in, leaving your intake fan as it was?

How do you expect heat to get out...?

  • @POPCORN454545 you can boost the turbo level on the i5/i7 processors.

  • @bimmermann18 oh.....cuz yeah, i wanted to put a 580 or a 6990 in one of these for my friend with a 2600k and OC it, looks like that no happen.

  • @POPCORN454545 only problem with the Z68 miniITX boards is that they don't like to stay at the clock you put them at, so you have to constantly reset your speeds.

  • @bimmermann18 Oh thats gay -_-

  • @bimmermann18 what do you mean boost the turbo levels? Do you mean use the turbo boost feature when you need it? turbo boost feature permanently? Adjust the turbo boost speed?

  • @fcguy7 Yup. Just set it to the highest multiplier that it will take for the turbo function and your done. I know you can't get to 4.5Ghz or something but, you can still get a small boost.

  • How much of a bottleneck is there running the 590 through that tiny motherboard? Still Awesome tho I hate that my pc weighs over 50 pounds.

  • @ttolmbrftttwtbopat Negative, their would not be a bottleneck on that, Mini-ITX board's are no different then big ones, they are just stripped of lower features, The only real bottleneck i have heard of is The Processor, other then that, the bottleneck on a 590 with a core i5-2500k, zero really.

  • Small form factors always get me excited!

  • Now lets see some action :)

  • so ridiculously overkill, gotta love it

  • price?

  • You have a Motherboard attached to that 590

  • Awesome build!

  • 2500k on h67?

  • mini-ITX&GTX590!?

    This pc is very cool!!

  • Sadly stock cooling can handle almost as well as that Corsair liquid cooling kit :( But it works. Other wise you've got my idea, except I was going to go with a Intel mini itx motherboard just realeased with a pcie x16 slot :)

  • Love the music. Deadmau5 forever!

  • I had no Idea the 590 was so big :O

  • great build, whats your temps?

  • @lalalaa1232 The 590 idles at 38c and reaches 85c max now that the cold weather is setting in (it was reaching mid 90's in before re-applying thermal paste). The 2500k only gets up to 60c and idles at 33-36c.

  • @bimmermann18 My 1090T with H80 water cooler gets as low as 21c and as high as 38c. In Summer =D

  • i'm looking into making something like this for a friend of mine, maybe even for myself, looks really nice, seems like a challenge :D

  • @DemonTraven Its not really a challenge. Just a good amount of planning and measurements. If you need any help, you can find my email on my page. I would be happy to assist you :)

  • LMFAO, im sorry i just couldn't help but laugh when i saw 0:57

  • hello,

I am also building a itx too. using the same case as yrs. i want to know, if a Corsair H60 will fit in the case?

    thank you

  • @bontaringko It will fit. Its basically the same performance.

  • @bimmermann18 Thanks for the reply. I do have another question.

With the H60 Cooler, will it fit on the Gigabyte GA-H67N-USB3 Mini-ITX Motherboard?? I am half way my build, wasnt too sure, if to buy a normal heat sink or a H60 cooler??

  • @bontaringko you are limited as to what air coolers will fit on these boards (thermaltake, scythe and cooler master are options). I have an H60 on another build of mine and it clears the chips on the back of the board. The problem with the H50 mounting system was that it pressed up against the board so, I had to use felt washers to act as spacing to avoid contact against the solder points.

  • Sweet. Congrats!

  • hot air rises you might want to check out temps w the radiator fan blowin hot air up....

  • YEAAA! MEOWINGTONS ENABLES HAX!

    good music choice!

  • HOLY SHIT

  • @TheHugeTuber About $1700. I put $2000 in the video to include original prices before rebates and shipping costs. With the price of parts coming down every day (especially memory), it would be cheaper to build now.

  • @bimmermann18 how long is the space for graphics card , and did u use stock fan from h50?

    Easy to plugin the h50?

  • @Feuerwerksfreak1 I believe that it has just enough room to fit a 6990 (13.5"). 360mm (14.148") is the total allotted space.I used the stock case fan since it is much quieter than the one Corsair supplies. Installation is a bit tricky but, it fits on most mini ITX boards.

  • 3 words.

    FEAR.THE.MINI.

thumbs up if you fear the mini. lol

  • Gtx 590 is larger than the mother board haha the card uses more power than every thing else together

  • i would still keep the top case cooler a exhaust one... cuz hot air easier floats up rather then downwards.. it might disturb your air flow a little.

still looks pretty awesome, also that it is actually so small and the vid. card almost twive the size in length xD

  • why did you put an i5 2500k on an H67 board doesnt a P67 board will do a better job since the cpu is unlock

  • @TheV8superkar P67 isn't available in mini itx and I got the 2500k for about $160 on sale.

  • @bimmermann18 they have z68 boards in mini itx :)

  • @TheV8superkar how about z68 the core is still unlocked???????????

  • @mindharvester the z68 is the best of both h67 and p67 but there arent many option for z68 mini-itx yet

  • @TheV8superkar He won't need more than what the i5 provides at stock. After all he's got a GTX590!!!

  • are the temps of the 590 good? no offense but it looks like it isnt well ventilated in its current spot but i may be wrong

  • @lunatic231 The temps are okay but you have compromises with small systems. It reaches 85c after I re-pasted it. before it would reach 96c. Idles around 38c for both cores.
