  • InshaAllah azwajal may we learn frm this.

  • Alhamdulillah a very useful reminder for me in particular. May Allah SubHana Wa Ta'Ala give us humility and not make us blabber out incorrect knowledge.

  • @RahatTheKiller Allaahumma Ameen!

  • lols my masjid Muslim center :D

  • whos the reciter in the beginning

  • Is Nouman a sheikh?

  • @TheMrpalid "sheikh" literally translates into "old man" or "elder" i believe...so the correct term would be USTAAD(advice giver) insha'Allah

  • @CGJUGO80 Thank you I appreciate it

  • Reciter???

  • can someone please tell me the name of the shikh reading in the first minate.....masha alah he's got sweeet voice

  • @hassanfahad123 he sound a bit like ahmed alagmy

  • @hassanfahad123 Hani Ar Rifai

  • This is not a hidden camera !!!

The camera's sides are blacked out to make it look better because of their logo...

you can clearly see the camera next to the waist of someone, so it was on a stand. In a mosque you have people sittting, not standing. So it's not possible for him to have a hidden camera at a standing persons waist length!!

Please before you speak, Check Twice!!

  • please refer to him with respect he is Shaykh Ul Islam Dr. Nouman Ali Khan Hafidhullah. Please.

  • Maashallah. Dr Nouman Ali Khan is such an inspiration.

  • Jazakallahukhair! This is definitely something that needed to be addressed. Definitely puts some of us back in our place..

  • MashAllah, Jazakom Allah Khairan for this video, its very beneficial for everyone to learn from!

  • @MuslimYTEmirate Is the full lecture available by any chance? Jazaakum Allahu khayr.

  • You call this production? This is an insult to word production. Don't call something gold when really, it's just another rock in the sand.

  • however, if the muslim is not a 100% sure of the answer than he/she should keep their mouth shut and then say go and ask a sheikh or allahualum, cause its a muslims duty to give dawah and be their for a new muslim. Also if a muslim is not sure of what an ayat or hadith is saying or what it means should ask a sheikh, not go and spread what you assume that you know what it means it and be confident in it, cause that what spreads corruption of the deen

  • yea i don't agree with him, some people at the time of muhammed S.A.W use to come and take their shahadah from him he S.A.W the 1st thing S.A.W used to tell them was to go back to where you came from and preach islam, and some of them use to go back with one ayat form the quran and some people are curious about islam and might ask a muslim and if the muslim is a 100% sure about the answer cause he learnt from a shiekh or some solid resource, he should tell them rather than saying go ask sheikh

  • @jolie416 Isn't this brother only talking about specific areas of islam though?

  • i dont agree with him... the Prophet alehi salam says in a hadith ( balighu 3anee walu aya) Preach to people even if you know one ayat .. offcurse you have to know what you talking about ... i think this brother has been told that cutting beard is haram ... which he dose and he didnt like it .. so he made this talk....................... yes la shaka fee that anyone who trims beard short then one fist is commiting haram ..

  • @ezatullah1 : I do agree with you..preach to people even you know only one ayat.."Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it."[Sahih Muslim Hadith] , even you only know one ayat ,why not...:)

  • @ezatullah1 Isn't this brother only talking about specific areas of islam though?

  • Salam .. JazakAllah for sharing it brother and for others plz do watch full video u wont find the camera is hidden any how i wana ask is the lecture continues or finishes over there if so plz give me links to follow as i cant find more related videos about this from u ..

  • Mashaallah ^^

  • Who is the Qari who recited the verses beautifully in the begining??

  • @muddz7 Hani Ar Rifai

  • The video just has effects, you people would know only if you had some knowledge about graphics. Btw @MuslimYTEmirate jazakallahu kahiran for the video and the site you have posted does not have all links working. May Allah reward yo for your efforts.

  • Assalmo Alaikom Brother Nouman, I know i am not qualified to talk or to preach Islamic religion, but sometimes, I find myslef talking to some people who do not know about my religion daily, and I love talking about GOD, ALL THE TIME, can you please elaborate on that, am I doing wrong?

  • would it be bad to say "In Islam it's the tradition of prophet muhammad (saw) to have beards. To some scholars it's an obligation (fard) and to some it's sunnah meaning you get deeds but it's not an obligation."

  • Salaam

    awsome advice

    peace

  • Geranium Masjid! Alhamdulillah :)

  • Why do you not the video straight away without any introductions.

  • Although i agree with Nouman, but on ther hand quest f knowledge is never ending. But it is duty of a muslim to do dawah and tell people whatever you have learnt regarding islam from authentic sources

  • @msiddiqui135

I think he is talking about laity giving fatwa...halal n haram

  • Although beware of thinking you are something which you aren't, as was explained by Nouman.

  • If you heard something from a sheikh and they themselves like brother Nouman mentioned are qualified to speak on certain issues such as for example the niqab, then one ought to teach that knowledge aquired. Because it is still an obligation to enjoin the good and forbid the evil.

Like ibn Qayyim said: Jihad of the soul is to learn knowledge, implement it, teach it to others and then bare with the diffuculties in one's effort to make dawah.

  • What about those people who say even if you have a small piece of knowledge that you should share it? i.e. Ahmed Deedat or Zakir Naik? Here Brother Nouman says differently.

  • I think that that considers advising the good and forbidding evil.

  • Salaamu ALaikum, where is the rest of this lecture?? wish the entire thing was available.

  • then how could we share things with non muslims?knowledge is to spread among the rest of us who dont know about it---what u just said(no offense) kinda sounds like--"u know stealing is bad, but dont tell others not to steal, because u are not sure if it is wrong"

  • This makes me question a lot of Muslim forums and blogs where they may be unqualified people giving advise. Even the integrity of someone who claims to be an Imam should be looked into.

May Allah Protect us From Misguidance.

  • @mahmooh Ameen

  • Jazakhallah khiran.

May Allah increases the knowledge of this brother. & may Allah give us the ability to understand our deen and apply on our self first.

    ameen

  • Masha'Allah, great advice. Jazak'Allahu khayr for the video brother

  • What's up with the hidden camera?

  • It was not hidden. That's the effect digitally made in post production.

  • @MuslimYTEmirate Brother, this is definiltey a hidden camera. It is obvious :P Not post production.

  • O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it (so hate backbiting) . And fear Allâh. Verily, Allâh is the One Who forgives and accepts repentance, Most Merciful. (49:12)

  • @MuslimYTEmirate Brother, I understand what you are saying and my comments were only half serious. Regardless though, I do not see how it was a wise decision to make it appear as though it was a hidden camera, especially when the camera is already shaky. If you dress the video in a particular fashion, then claim that it is not so, it will still draw suspicion. Allah knows best.

  • @MuslimYTEmirate SubhanAllah brother,

Jazak Allah kheir for an Amazing video like so many of your videos mashallah..

Kindly could you let me know who the Qari reciting in the interlude of this video was? it is beautiful mashallah .. you have used this same Qari in many other videos and was curios.. because he sounds very familiar but dont have the name..

    Jazak Allah Kheir akhi

  • Salaamo 3alaikom,

He says when you learn something you do it first and foremost for yourself. But isn't everything we do ONLY for Allah sub7ana wa ta3ala.

  • @MuslimYTEmirate

Lol, Masha'Allah. This is truly a great lesson to learn from Dr. Nouman Ali Khan, however....this is clearly a hidden camera! Haha, but it's ok. The knowledge is all that matters to me :)

  • @onesuchpath hhhhhha

  • @baburo101 Focus on the content please

  • Mash'Allah, great and very true advice. We need to watch what we say to others, especially those who are seeking the knowledge of Islam. Refer them back to the Quran and Hadiths.

  • MashaAllah! JazakAllahu Khairan for this video!!

  • so so true subhaAllah. this is such a big problem in our times. may Allah swt keep our hearts and tongues pure from falling into this error

  • Perfect indeed!

this video does not say that debating within ourselves is haram. But just commendable if the issue is given to the Alim Ulamas to discuss. Keep your mobile or music players handy, so that you can keep the discussions and debated in hand and improve your knowledge, but never over-authorize your ability.

  • Shukran katseer for the vid...keep up !!

  • barakAllahu feek, great reminder

  • Mashallah very interesting video :)

  • AsalaamuAlaykum, Alhamdulillah thanks for posting the video great reminder, MASHAALLAH.

May ALLAH guide us All, Ameen.

    JAZAKALLAH KHAIR.

  • alhamdullillah i came across this video, i will definitely be more aware of what i say about halal and haram IA. but i have a question: what if you see someone doing something haram and u know for a fact its haram? can u not tell them its haram for the sake of Allah swt? what if u say "according to this person blah blah blah"? or "i heard blah blah?" can someone please shed some light on this? jazzakallahu khairan

  • He's referring more to matters where there is a lot of difference of opinion. But i matters of obvious fard, like prayer, fasting, etc, or obvious haram, like Zina, Khamr, etc, then you are not only allowed to speak about it, but you are OBLIGED to. That is enjoining the good and forbidding evil. No scholar will dispute this. But in debatable matters, leave it to the scholars.

  • OHHHH... okk. that makes more sense. jazzakallahu khayran!! :)

  • May Allah forgive us

  • thanks for the vid - good point.

  • jezakallahkhier, i liked allahualem before, now it's going to be my new favorite word inshallah.

  • Baraka'Allahu feekum.

  • did you make this video in secret!? :P looks like that...

  • The video description affirms that it was uploaded with the permission of brother Nouman.

  • mashaAllah...awesome

  • I really love Nouman Ali! May Allah grant him paradise ishAllah!

    ameen!

  • Great video mashallah

    Keep them coming
