  • When you are sick and tired of doing a Paul Mccartney impersonation, being "the fireman" can be very refreshing.

  • I doubt I could form a sentence if I ever met Paul face to face ! I'd be suddenly stupified. It would be embarrassing, really !

  • paul is dead, died in '66. it's never been more clear

  • @softsummernights I think I just lost a few IQ's reading your comment. Thanks.

  • WOW...Paul's going to be 69 (6/18/11)..his face looks like an old shoe. He needs to but the die that he puts on his hair on his face.....you people are nuts !!! He's old enough to be most of his fans GRANDFATHER. When I was growing up I said that someday there would be "The New Beatles"..it looks like you young people are holding onto the pass because you haven't been able to produce them..this is the sad state of the music industry. Living in the past.

  • @rocksinger45 @rocksinger45 @rocksinger45 So, rock is only for the youth...That's B.S. Just because he is a grandfather he shoud wall himself up in his estate and retire?.which would be death to a guy like him. And we should move on and let a MASTER like him disappear. I hate to say it but your premise is just plain stupid and mean spirited. He has shown that he is still innovative and relevant. Those wrinkles show a person who has lived and knows a thing or two. Find beauty in them.

  • @Neverever325 What you misunderstood here is that there is no one out there to take his or should I say the Beatles place after all these years. Thats not heathy for the youth or music industry...the young people need to be more creative and stop rehashing the past and move forward....at this point in my life...I'm been there and done that.

  • @rocksinger45 There is nothing new under the sun. Creativity is taking the elements that already there and feeling free enough to play with them. The Beatles openly admitted they had past influences like classical music and Elvis and others. They were free to play. And then they moved on. Greatness isn't a gift for everyone. I mean are you going to be mad that people still flock to see the Mona Lisa?

  • @rocksinger45 I think you are saying you wish something would come along that is fresh and youthful and inspiring. Something as exciting as the Beatles was. Maybe you are wishing for the impossible.Too many out there now for any one person or group to stand out like they did. The Beatles couldn't even maintain that status. I don't think it hurts to revere a Master though. Look at Jazz. The older ones are respected and the youth are happy to learn from them.

  • @Neverever325 I must be wishing for the imposable because all that the music industry has come up with so far (I'll let you name the entrees here) are people who've as the Beatles did at first ..copy there hero, but the Beatles realized that something has to come from within and it did. I listen to all music including classical (which rehashes the past as well)....as the Who once said...Who's Next...I'm waiting and bored as hell.

McCartney was never my favorite Fab. My favorites are dead.

  • @rocksinger45 My favs used to be Lennon and Harrison but I am appreciating alot of Paul M & the Wings now...alot of great songs. I always loved the Beatles even though they broke up before I was a teen. I really enjoyed the Traveling Wilbury's. I like the Super group concept of Masters getting together, putting egos aside for creating and collaboration. Art is a social activity, a professor said to me once.

  • @Neverever325 McCartney's ego is to big to put himself in a supergroup, the Firemen are not a supergroup.

It's been said that McCartney "has never seen a stage that he didn't like"....ego.

I'm very fortunate to have seen the Beatles live at the Hollywood Bowl when I was 15. :) I'm 61 now and have seen it ALL. Do a google search on the latest supergroup called "Super Heavy" if you haven't heard about it this will blow you away..I can't wait to hear this CD.

  • @rocksinger45 I was thinking Paul wouldn't be able to be in a supergroup when I wrote that--he's happier as a soloist. I don't know much about the Fireman. Haven't watched the vids on it yet. There were decades when I was too busy working and being a parent. Because of Youtube I can look back and see what I missed. I'll look up the Super Heavy.

  • @Neverever325 I've been Paul McCartneyed till I'm blind. I'd like him to do something I never thought he'd do, but I don't think that will ever happen...to set in his ways. There is rumors of a hard rock cd in the makes that might be interesting.

Just read an interesting story on Super Heavy @ Billbord.com. They were at the old A&M lot filming a video and doing interviews for there upcoming Sept. release....can't wait, Damian Marley is one of my fav's and Dave Stewarts production values...Nice

  • "I'm some guy in a ficticious band", says Paul. Sort of like the Sgt. pepper concept which was in the main Paul's idea. Shades of the sixties. I like Fireman. Good. Very good. Great even!

  • The Walrus and the Fireman (John Lennon & Paul Mccartney)

  • The Fireman album is like Pepper in that Paul can be incognito and do something abstract and not a "Paul McCartney" album. I love the Fireman album, so glad he is still doing quality work.

  • This album gets better with time.

  • @3rdpug Well, he loves his fans and his enemies because he understands that people have different tastes in music and is perfectly find with that.

  • @3rdpug so dont watch his videos.

  • I hope he would be able to keep rocking for fifty years more.

Love him as a song writer, singer, person...

  • Who is it?

Uses all the hair colourant?Bloody shops are open Jan 2nd!!!

    JK Paul ,Absolute disent!!!

  • I love you Paulll

  • so basically he just tried to recreate sgt. peppers, 3 times..............

  • @MAChockey003 well sgt pepper was awesome so i don't blame him. and george sorta did that with traveling wilburys also

  • @Icanhasoboe oh yeah sgt peppers is one of the great albums of all time but it couldnt be recreated in my opinion

  • he is so cute

  • Didn't he do something like this a long time back..."If you WANT IT here it is...come and get..but you better burry cause it's going fast....Badfinger...was that him as well then??? It sure sounded like him..and there was another one too..can't remember.

    Help me out/??

  • damn right santrecs!!!

  • he can put out my fire!

    <3

  • I thought Paul was the walrus.

  • @TheTopBloke Goo Goo GA joob! Pretty little Pleasmans in a row ho ho ho !

  • i dont get it..

  • Paul Rocks!

  • the fireman rushes are the best album from the 90s mccartneys record

  • @frozzzs It's like in "Penny Lane", when he says "...and then The Fireman Rushes in.."

  • @ShotGunAnd So whgt are you suggesting???...He's was the fireman THEN TOO??? Oh this is just tooo much.... If the father tomato gets angry is it right for him to smash the baby tomato and say..."Ketchup" !!! ??? Or is Buckwheat going to really change his name to Karreem of Wheat when he becomes muslim>>>? Disturbed minds need to know.

  • Electric arguments is awesome ..."dance till were high" is my personal fave

  • Electric Arguments is awesome.. "dance till were high" my personal fave

  • @ST0MP0 Wanker

  • @theactordavidbath ¿who?

  • @buzonperiodista Not Paul! The twit I replied to (STOMPO).

  • @theactordavidbath Oh right! yeah... A "nobody" talking about "somenone"... very strange.

  • oh si sir paul mccartney

  • It is so nice of Sir Paul to show gratitude to his fans.

¡Qué amable Sir Paul mostrando su agradecimiento a los fans!

  • he did it :o) shame on him

  • *Fangirl Scream*

  • Paul McCartney is one of the most beloved singers. We all say it and our word is a gold point exact description of our greatest man. " The Fireman ".

  • Rock and Roll's greatest rocker

  • No, more like music's greatest musician.

  • he's still got it

  • John Lennon is not the fireman. John Lennon is the eggman.

  • And Paul is the Walrus!

  • Not the Eggman, the Walrus. Haha.

  • He was never the eggman, Eric Burdon was.

John Lennon WAS the Walrus, but if you've listed to his solo song "God" you'll see that he's evolved into something much greater.

  • In 'Glass Onion', Lennon sings, 'The Walrus was Paul'. But, I will agree with your 'music's greatest musician'.

  • @Santrecz He's the walrus my friend

  • @Santrecz Goo goo g'joob.

  • YES YES YES .....HE IS! THE FIREMAN ;)

  • Very cool. Enjoyed watching this

  • It'd be so nice if he started up a regular TV program. There is no one else who could bring together an all-star lineup like he could. He could bring back the variety shows like Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin did.

  • Paul's the man.

  • The guy looks amazing for his age and he sounds as good as ever live.

  • Well...he is pushing 70, nobody can look like they are 25 forever. ;-)

  • Some wrong with his bladder?

  • Paul is the man.

  • I sure enjoy his interviews ! Way to go Paul !

  • My God he is grand!

  • Oh my God! He's so adorable!!!!!!!!!

  • all you need is Cash... lala blablabla...

  • Class act all the way

  • Lennon - Forever

  • Wow! It is obvious Sir McCartney just loves to play his music and does not care about the fame solely. Says a lot about his character.

  • Not unlike The Walrus.

    JB

  • why did you post that flith?

  • What is flith? LOL.

What is filth exactly? All I mentioned was he was NOT unlike the Walrus in being another alias. How is that filth?

    How confusing can you get?

  • no sorry lol i thought you were a jonas brothers fan my mistake its just that i went back after i saw your profile to try and delete the comment but i didnt see it

  • Oh gosh golly heaven's to mergatroid no, I LOVE Sir Paul. A brilliant and cheerful fellow, a great comedian even at times.

Sorry for any misunderstandings, nice guitar playing as well.

    JB

  • thank you very much yeah its ok its just that when you become a beatles, rush mcartney fan etc you begin to think that JB is the two letters of the devil :D but yeah i saw some of your videos and i was like oh shit a guy who pays the guitar well oh god whatd i just do

  • Hahaha...JB is the devil?

Nah..Im just JBirdy. My folks nicknamed me that when I was 3 because I was a streaker who liked to run around our house naked and avoid the bathtub at all costs! Hahaha.

    I love my guitars.

    Sigh.

  • yup after the hello godbye cover they marked themselves as alot of bad things piece of advice when you type it you should have Jb so people dont think your a stupid fan :P

you know your in love with your guitars when.......you name them play them excessively begin talking to them, strum your fingernails practice your chords on your hands when a guitar is not availble and have the longing to play your guitar while playing your guitar :P (i dont believe in commas or punctaution)

  • So true,

JBirdy was here before any Jonas brother bleccch, so THEY have to steal from moi....haha.

I do all those things you mentioned with guitar and more, I even fall asleep on my couch holding my guitar, my gf has seen that a few times....haha. I also have those calluses BIG time!

    :)

  • i once tried that sleep with the guitar.........the guitar ended up kicking me out of the couch calluses jeez ive had that once or twice afterwards they end up falling off my figners like dandruff

i think you should sue the jonas bitches (sorry for the language) for copyright :P)

  • I would love to but sadly, they are wealthier and less talented.

They should be doing Macca's laundry.

    Hahaha.

  • ....................you think thier good enough to touch mcartneys laundry thats crazy talk :P and all the more better sue em you could probably get like i dont know alot of money because thier that rich although theyd get better lawyers

  • Hahaha.

Yes indeed, they are corrosive, their music. their attitudes and their fashion...so cheeseball.

Yeah, they are super-rich but when they get older will they still be like that? Or even their music? Look what happens to other teen idols, Their going to need help being so talentless.

  • help you mean like alchool :P

  • Exactly.

    Or perhaps a shrink even!

My sister lived in L.A. and was good friends with Leif Garret, he suffered terribly after falling from "teen-popstar" grace.

    (Jb)<<by your advice ;D

  • ouch well these guys are just plain terrible so id hate to see what happens after the generation stops liking them yay long live the new signature Jb :P

  • Yeah, who knows. A lot of people regarded the Beatles as being pop-style in the beginning and they got better and better so maybe the Jonas bros will get......oh nevermind.

    LOL

  • did you just think what i thought you were thinking?

  • Hahaha.

Don't worry Bd, I think they may just be another flash-in-the-pan so to speak. I think of bands like Nirvana who really shook the rock and roll world. Too bad Kurt Cobain died so young though. The Beatles music was awesome from the very start as far as I'm concerned too.

    ;)

  • omg how could you NOT realize he was the fireman?

his voice (to me) is easy to recognize

mostly because he is the like the only person i listen to

    that and the beatles

  • what about the wings? he was in that too but i agree

  • whats the fireman? i honestly dont know

  • Thanks for your coming-out Paul...

You deserv to be Paul Mccarthney and not only the Fireman...

  • he's an oldie! that fireman.

too old for the ladder. hahaha.

  • Ha, that first sentence sounded a bit dodgy at first, "It's one of the worst kept secrets in music, but Paul McCartney has finally come out...as the Fireman".

I was like WHOA, wait a minute...oh. XD

  • Has Paul had some work done?

  • The whole time he has been pretending to be Paul... yes... he has had a lot of work done.

  • @jrrcor; here we go again... *sigh*...

  • Wow... you get really offended huh??? What would you do if he came out and admitted to the fact that he wasn't really Paul??? Would you sigh again??? If you don't like what I'm sayin' , then just get on with your business.... don't let me bother you... what do I know, just been researching it... not going on just some rumors, but I bet you just felt like putting your 2 cents in just for the hell of it.... whatever makes you feel important dear.

  • @jrrcor: baby, didn't I tell you that I'm not giving my opinion on whether Paul is dead or not? Maybe I do believe he's dead, maybe I don't. That wasn't the point. The point was that you really don't have to comment this shit on every fucking video about Paul/Billy/William/...who-the-fuck-ever. It's just seriously not nessecary. Thank you hun. <33

  • Last time I checked.... you weren't in charge of what people could comment about.... So... do me a large favor.... stop thinkin' I give a shit what you want me to do.

  • HON, as in HONEY>>....... miekkiej, by the way the @ symbol means AT..... duh!

  • ... *sigh* ... you really don't know when to stop, do you... fail. read your pm, sexy<3

  • You won't stop either..... so..... here we go, love..... on and on and on...... push, push, push... easy to do on the computer.... not in person... wish we could meet... maybe it would shut you up.

  • miekkiej.......is a stalker, freak......

  • omg you're SO sad... seriously.. 'wish we could meet'? wish we could meet, I'd totally do you. Byebye love<33

  • HE IS SO AMAZING (cute..don't juge me) I LOVE YOU PAUL!

  • macca is the greatest - had nother tidy up,ha,ha,ha - who luvs ya baby??? baldy does,ha,ha,ha

  • at long last faul has come out as the fireman

  • cutie!!...Looks so good in red!! LoL :o)

  • how come paul looks younger than a few years back? he did something to his face or what?

  • really, i was hearing rumours that he was going to have a old 'Paul McCartney and Friends' tour with a semi-reunion moment. I'm glad this news came out that he was with a new band so i could settle with the truth of what he was doing.

  • had a tidy up.

  • why?

  • WAT THE FUCK!?! If u hate him so much why did u click on this video? r u just sosad and pathetic that u have nothing better to do than to go surfing the net for Paul McCartney videos and saying nasty things about him when u don't even know him as a person? He never did anything to u so just get a life and leave him alone!!!

  • Really, without trying to draw attraction to your sad little life, a la Mark Chapman,(if you don't know who he is look it up?) why?

  • he looks cool at 0:49

  • paul is dead because the fireman lives

  • I saw this interview and thought that Paul was having great fun with this. keep singing for us Paul!

    ~TIMELESS~

  • I thought everyone knew like in August.

  • Comment removed

  • The new fireman album is fantastic, the best that had Paul done in the last 20 years. Paul is soooo great. And he still looks and sounds so good.
