How do you suggest keeping clear shots without adjusting the focus..I use a t3i and usually the 1.4 or the 1.8

@korver14 shoot with a wide angle with an aperture of like f8 so you have the least amount of bokeh, then just make sure you don't go in for a close up.

FYI...for all those who have a lower camera like the 550D or the 7D, I did some experimenting and in order to get this look on those cameras...you have to use a 10mm or 11mm lens instead of the 17mm..Great footage by the way

Looks a little shaky but I'm sure you'll get better with it. I've recently mastered the Cam Caddie Scorpion and all of my videos look incredibly smooth. I recommend them first for DIY filmmakers.

@pbennettuk in the daytime you can have your aperture set pretty high, in the double digit range and still get enough light. so focusing wouldn't be a problem in that situation, your range would be pretty big.
