Did you get it up and flying? I finished mine a couple of weeks ago and finally got it tuned. It is very stable even in high winds. i crashed this weekend and only had to replace one arm and three props. Lot of fun!
@blockman69 Yup, Been flying since christmas break. Crashing a lot. Got a pile of sticks from the effort. Got a few beach videos with on-board footage on my channel. Had a bad crash on Wednesday that destroyed an ESC, which are on back-order, so no flying for a while. Glad you're up and running too. H
@dssaction thank you, i have to build landing gear. I ordered props and a voltage buzzer. I need to replace the bolts. They are too long. Firmware seems to work. I hope the setup is correct. I might be PMing you for help.
wow hi-tech...your Tri-Copter looks like a cool project, i thought about a Quadcopter for some time but didnt had the time to read up on all the tech stuff you have to get into to acatully build one, cant wait to see it fly. Btw are you bilding it as just a Tri-Copter or are you planing to use it as a Cam-platform to do some cool aerial photos or something? Anyway nice video man...
@WarbirdFan66 Thank you T, I want to get into flying helicopters at some point and this is the platform to learn on. $150 in parts. Crash is a wooden 1cm by 1cm arm or some $0.50 props. A real help is easily $400 and $50-100 per crash. This will teach me the orientation issues and VTOL. I will someday put a GoPro on it and I hope FPV is in the cards. LED lighting also. I'm struggling to figure out the programing of the radio.
