I was born in the South, I'm now 50yrs old. Every time I would go home over the years and visit my white family members, all I would hear is Nigger!, never 'that black guy down the road, but the Nigger down the road". I married an Asian woman, when we were dating in high school, I must have heard 50 times from family members either jokes about chinks, or nips or other negative remarks just because, and I know this for a fact, that they never ever knew an Asian person on a personal level.
