  • Crippling business rates to pay for all the council salaries and pension pots has caused thousands of small businesses to go bankrupt and destroyed manufacturing jobs. Industrial estates have thousands of factorys and units lying idle with big TO LET signs. It is the councils greed in charging these firms such extorcinate business rates that has caused all this. Labour and the TUC have destroyed productive jobs to pay for all their public sector non-jobs.
