Check out the "sequel" Season 2, Sasquatch II, they get the DNA results. Supposedly it is "not quite" human with genetic differences at the level where chimps/apes split off from humans. They are doing more studies...

Why on earth when you've had contact with this creature you LEAVE the next day? Really? Why wouldn't you, as a serious researcher, stay for a week at least and set cameras around the woods outside the cabin to try and catch whatever was throwing the rocks on film? Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way? It just seems to me that if you are THAT close to getting a Bigfoot on film you wouldn't pack up and go the very next day!

@satyran I agree with you. I'm starting to think we are being scammed by these shows. I have a real big problem with Josh Gates, every-time he get close he packs up and goes home just like he really doesn't want to find anything. The first Yeti episode of his, he finds a track and gets a good thermal image hit,____ and he pack-up and goes home????? that does not make any sense does it?
@Astroboy1070. Unless you have a rifle it would be very stupid to attempt to encounter a potentially 800 pound beast in the dark at close range. They are scientists not connan the barbarian. I would never have sought to attract and document such a creature without a trusty AK47 at my side.
