Aside from the entertainment value, this is a film to be studied regarding the early realization of using sound creativedly, working within the limitations that the technique placed on film production in the begnning. There is an application of overlapping of sounds and a sophisticated use of editing using cutaways. One is not as aware of the confinement of the actors to a fixed spot due to the microphone. And the recording is quite good for this period, and it's all live recordings.
