@MLinden27 Depends on whats under the hood. If you want to race don't EVER bring a stock car to a night of serious racing. Even if its a stock SS... You can take a 1998 mustang GT and order a $2,900 S/C from KB and take 215hp to 375hp over night. If you include $1,500 dollar worth of exhaust, and bolt on you have a 400+HP 1998 mustang GT, which is dominating SS's or whatever else stock you want to throw at it like its a baby suckling titty.

Yup, my granddad has a 01 auto GT, and I know exactly what you're talking about. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, and it shifts a TON better than my car does!

@sneaky98gt LS1 can get up to 18MPG city, don't think the Mustang can, maybe 16 at best. Camaro also handles better, though the Mustang still handles well. Mustangs and Camaros are both hot cars, they both have unique featuers.
My Camaro in stock form will do 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, if I put the same stuff in my Camaro as you now have in your Mustang it'd be no competition. A 225HP 4.6 V8 against a 310HP 5.7 V8...which one has more potential, oh I wonder.
I'm currently getting 26/21 mpg highway/city WITH the blower. I know of countless others getting the same or better mileage; the new 3 valves are getting upwards of 30 on the highway.
I know it's all personal preference, but I find the Mustang to look WAY better than the Camaro, although the WS6 T/As look good, too.
And I forgot the BEST feature the Mustang has that the 'Maro doesn't: the exhaust. Even most LSx guys agree the Mustang sounds 10x better.
@sneaky98gt I agree, stock vs stock the 4.6 GT does sound better than the 5.7. Although, stock for stock the 5.7 performs much better. When you get into modding, say you throw the SLP LM1 on the GT and the Z28, now which one sounds better? Look up those LS1's with the LM1, they are incredible. And I agree, the Trans Am is the best looking muscle car, better looking than the Camaro or Mustang.
I'm currently getting 25-27 on the highway, depending on the weather and how fast I'm driving. I only got a tiny bit better when I was completely stock.

@dgmustanggt You'd have to baby the shit out of your GT to get 18MPG city. And the Camaro is definitely lower than the Mustang, I've ridden in a Cobra before, and it was low, but my Camaro was lower. I've even got a Mustang owner who rode in my Camaro and also commented it was lower than his Mustang. When it comes to the 1998 Mustang GT it's 3354 lbs, the 1998 Camaro SS is 3450. 100 lbs of weigh difference is very minimal.
I've never seen a Mustang GT that DIDN'T get at least 18-19 mpg in the city. As I said, I'm getting 20 or more with a blower making well over 300 rwhp.
Camaro definitely "sits" lower, as in, the interior, but the ground clearance of the two are very similar.
100 pounds is actually very significant, especially in the case of Mustang v. Camaro when that 100 pounds is all on the front end, thus resulting in a better balanced and handling car, as well as being faster.

The Camaro interior is definitely lower, you may be right that the Mustang and CAmaro both have the same clearance though, now that I think about it.
And 100 lbs is not that significant, at least not when the 1998 Mustang GT makes 225HP and the 1998 Camaro SS makes 310HP. not hard to judge which is faster.

I can't count how many 99+ V6s (including the 2005-2010 4.0s) that I've beaten. Come to think of it, I've never lost to one. This car bone stock runs mid-high 14s. I got it to 14.0 with a few hundred dollars in bolt ons, and that was even with the stock gears. It would take a LOT of money to get a 99-04 V6 to run 14.0.

Haha. Right now, yea, I'd agree with you. I like the autos because they are consistent, easy, and reliable. But right now, mine isn't shifting hard enough. I've got the firmness turned all the way up in the tune, but with the blower on now, and all the extra power it's making, it just can't shift but so fast. I'm gonna J-Mod it shortly. It'll shift then, and leave any 5-speeds around in the dust. :) (It normally does that anyway, though :D)
The stock auto's on these cars really hold them back. Get em to shift and/or put a stall in it, I'd drop half a second 0-60 with no power modifications.
@sneaky98gt No sir, 5-speed, however, while I haven't drove a non-pi auto, I did get to drive an 03' GT with an auto, and it hauled, crisp shifting, fantastic response, they both share the same 4r70w(I think that's the name) transmission, to my knowledge...maybe they were set up differently, idk..
They are different. Same transmission, but different valve body. My granddad has an 01 auto GT and it shifts like there's no tomorrow! I wish mine would shift like that. Hopefully after the J-Mod, it will.
Back before the blower, I bought a programmer and firmed up the shifts on it. That alone dropped half a second in the 1/8 mile. Very, very noticeable difference. I'm running mid 8s right now in the 1/8, so maybe if I get the shifts firmed back up I can run some low 8s
I have a buddy who bought a 98 GT in 2000 with 25k miles on it, 5spd, all stock. It wasnt the fastest thing in the world.. I had an almost all stock 95 Z28 6spd, and he would not race me for shit :b All I had was the headers and exhaust along with a an auto-zone bought cold air intake :b it wasnt the fastest thing either, but I could never get him to race it to see where they stand. Now he still has that GT but with over 120k miles now, still nothing at all done to it.
Well, it's a stock, 12 year old, first generation, automatic, 4.6. Yes it's pretty slow. Loot at my newer videos. A few simple bolt ons solve that problem. 0-60 in 5.7.
Oh, and by tomorrow, it's gonna be a LOT faster. :)

Just got done putting a supercharger on. Made 325 on the wheels, which is about 150 hp more than what it was making in this video. Should be less than 5 second 0-60. Sure does feel like it.

This car (just like it is in this video) ran a 15.1 at 90.5 in the 1/4 (with bad weather) with about a 6.5 0-60.
This car now (with only a couple hundred dollars worth of bolt ons) is running 0-60 in about 5.9. Heading to the track 2 weekends from now, looking for 14.1-14.2. Should be able to get it.
So no, your Cavalier is nowhere near as fast as this.
And while I'm pretty sure I won't get that much, I'll get over half. At least 7 or 8 tenths. And the exhaust, cams, and intake gains are proven gains by hundreds of people.

So that's a .8 second and over 7 mph gain over my stock runs, just in the 1/8. And I have talked to a lot of people that made similar 1/8 mile runs that ran 13.8-13.9 at about 97-98 mph in the 1/4.

I ran open headers on my ram. As well as having a lower gear set. I raped a 2004 Cobra. Guy was pretty mad. I like the truck because I can fly and feel stable unlike a small car.

Yes, there are plenty of trucks that can beat a Cobra, but no "stock or mildly modified" one that can. Yes, diesels can be fast. I've got several friends with D-maxes that will eat a Corvette. But that isn't a "mildly modified" truck. It is, as you put it, a "heavily modified" truck.
No, an 03-04 Cobra puts down 380 hp on the rear wheels, vs. an 03-04 GT that puts down maybe 235. So no, a Cobra actually has around 150 more hp than a GT. Even the newer GTs only put down around 280.
We've already been over the possibility of it not being an actual cobra. It's completely possible it was just a GT. No one knows. Point is, he got left behind. I was with 2 other people who witnessed it. The ram was 4wd 230hp maybe a lil more cuz of exhaust and intake. Transmission was brand new rebuilt with a shift kit. The mustang could have had 215-360hp. Idk the exact year. My truck was faster, and his Mustang was slower. Weight affects a small car and he had another person with him. so idk

The year isn't for sure. And it's completely possible it wasn't a cobra. It's michigan, people care about looks more than function half the time. And YES he knew we were racing. A diesel ram will blow a v8 stang out the door easy with a tune. And my 1500 ram had 150k on the tranny when I decided to have it rebuilt. It didn't blow. My dad's had 180k on his 98 Ram. So idk what ur talking about. And no I didn't race a v6. A friend mine has a v6 and it couldn't even keep up with my truck, not even with my 4 banger escort gt I had.
And don't even start with the horsepower vs torque argument. You'll make yourself look dumb really quickly.
A 94 Ram makes 335 ft-lbs of tq, vs a 1998 Mustang GTs 290, a 15.5% difference. A Ram weighs (I'm conservatively estimating) 4500 lbs, my car weighs 3400 pounds, a 32.4% difference. Even with your torque argument (which is wrong), the Mustang is still faster.
Peak torque means nothing. Amount of torque under the powerband means everything.
And no one's saying (or at least I'm not) that you did or didn't beat any particular car. I don't doubt at all that you "raced" and "beat" a Mustang.
But, there's no way, with both drivers racing, in a fair race, a Mustang GT (or even as you claimed, a Cobra) will lose to an exhaust/intake Ram. Sorry, but it isn't going to happen.
And back to the torque argument, a Formula 1 car only makes 200 lb-ft of torque, yet accelerates 0-60 in about 1.5 seconds. Case closed.
I don't know what was done to my ram before I got it. But it wasn't slow in any way. Event with 33s on it I could smash it and leave patches down the block. It was an unfair race to me with 2 other passengers. Like I said tho, another passenger in a Mustang really slows it down compared to in a truck. A shortbed regular cab ram weighs less than 4500. And for the mustang. add two 180 pound people and that slows it down a lot.

The Ram is no where near slow. I don't even have it any more. I hated getting 11-15 mpg at best. What I drive now IS slow. I'm more concerned with a vehicle that's going to last a long time and decent mpg. I'm in a 91 Cherokee with 100k on the motor/trans, it's great offroad, but freeway driving isn't fun with something so tippy. I've never really been into the fast car thing, especially living in Michigan where I could only drive it half the year.

Yea, a stock GT is slow, especially the 96-98 NPI GTs (like mine). But even so, a mostly stock 15 year old, 1500 Dodge Ram with a 360 isn't as fast. Not even really close. I have a friend that has a newer Ram with intake, exhaust, throttle body, etc., and it isn't even as fast as my brother's 4.0 Ranger. (Look at my other video's to see him spank it.)
And when you go to a 99-04 GT, it doesn't even get close.
It's also a 4-speed w/ AOD automatic. Mine has 3.27 gears. I think some of the GTs came with 2.73s, which is probably what you had.
I wish I had more gear than I have. I think 3.73s would be good for a daily driver like mine is, but for all out racing, I think I'd go w/ some 4.10s or 4.30s.

Yea, all I got for exhaust is a Flowmaster catback. Any chambered exhaust sounds good to me. Gonna get some longtubes and h-pipe some time for mine, give it a little more Mustang sound, lol.

Ive heard that GM underrates their cars..and that when the SS says 345hp its more like 400..but the dyno showed 360...so I dont know? I know on the 1993 Z28 they were underrated...they showed 285 on the sticker but motor trend tested them and they showed close to 330??? I dont know though? But the girl I know with the Mustang..she also babies hers..and has not done anything to it..but its pretty quick...she just recently gave it to her daughter who turned 16..so awesome car for a 16 yr old
Probably 400 engine hp, but winds up more like 350 at the rear wheels. I know the 2004 cobra is rated at 390, but makes 415 at the engine, and about 375 at the rear wheels. Who knows.
Mine isn't babied, but it is taken very well care of. I only have 80000 miles on it. Primarily because I haven't hardly been able to drive it for the last two years. I go to a residential high school and they don't allow cars. =( But the plus side is I have a very clean, low mileage car when I do drive it :D
You should start upgrading yours...or are you planning on trading it or something for a new one? If not...I would shop SLP's website..they have some awesome stuff...

Black Leather T-tops Chrome ZR-1 style SS Rims, all Ive done is cold air intake..it came stock with the SLP performance package at 345hp..had it dynoed and its now 360. Nothing too special..believe it or not..Im not into racing it and all that haha..I like to baby it. Only has 31k miles. And yeah the Blue cobras do look good! I personally dont really care for the TA either..but in black they are bad ass!

Well I think that the Camaros have always looked better then Mustangs INSIDE and OUT...and of course they are faster out of the factory (until ford supercharges their cars).,..thats just my opinion..I respect yours too...but to my Camaros are more aggressive and sporty looking..they actually look like a Sports/Muscle car...Mustangs to me just look like any other 2 door coupe on the road. And the interiors are very horrible...cant compare to Camaro (to me)

@MLinden27 Depends on whats under the hood. If you want to race don't EVER bring a stock car to a night of serious racing. Even if its a stock SS... You can take a 1998 mustang GT and order a $2,900 S/C from KB and take 215hp to 375hp over night. If you include $1,500 dollar worth of exhaust, and bolt on you have a 400+HP 1998 mustang GT, which is dominating SS's or whatever else stock you want to throw at it like its a baby suckling titty.

@sneaky98gt LS1 can get up to 18MPG city, don't think the Mustang can, maybe 16 at best. Camaro also handles better, though the Mustang still handles well. Mustangs and Camaros are both hot cars, they both have unique featuers.
My Camaro in stock form will do 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, if I put the same stuff in my Camaro as you now have in your Mustang it'd be no competition. A 225HP 4.6 V8 against a 310HP 5.7 V8...which one has more potential, oh I wonder.

I'm currently getting 26/21 mpg highway/city WITH the blower. I know of countless others getting the same or better mileage; the new 3 valves are getting upwards of 30 on the highway.
I know it's all personal preference, but I find the Mustang to look WAY better than the Camaro, although the WS6 T/As look good, too.
And I forgot the BEST feature the Mustang has that the 'Maro doesn't: the exhaust. Even most LSx guys agree the Mustang sounds 10x better.

@sneaky98gt I agree, stock vs stock the 4.6 GT does sound better than the 5.7. Although, stock for stock the 5.7 performs much better. When you get into modding, say you throw the SLP LM1 on the GT and the Z28, now which one sounds better? Look up those LS1's with the LM1, they are incredible. And I agree, the Trans Am is the best looking muscle car, better looking than the Camaro or Mustang.

I've even got a Mustang owner who rode in my Camaro and also commented it was lower than his Mustang. When it comes to the 1998 Mustang GT it's 3354 lbs, the 1998 Camaro SS is 3450. 100 lbs of weigh difference is very minimal.

I've never seen a Mustang GT that DIDN'T get at least 18-19 mpg in the city. As I said, I'm getting 20 or more with a blower making well over 300 rwhp.
Camaro definitely "sits" lower, as in, the interior, but the ground clearance of the two are very similar.
100 pounds is actually very significant, especially in the case of Mustang v. Camaro when that 100 pounds is all on the front end, thus resulting in a better balanced and handling car, as well as being faster.

The Camaro interior is definitely lower, you may be right that the Mustang and CAmaro both have the same clearance though, now that I think about it.
And 100 lbs is not that significant, at least not when the 1998 Mustang GT makes 225HP and the 1998 Camaro SS makes 310HP. not hard to judge which is faster.

I can't count how many 99+ V6s (including the 2005-2010 4.0s) that I've beaten. Come to think of it, I've never lost to one. This car bone stock runs mid-high 14s. I got it to 14.0 with a few hundred dollars in bolt ons, and that was even with the stock gears. It would take a LOT of money to get a 99-04 V6 to run 14.0.
Stock for stock, it's not even a close race.

Haha. Right now, yea, I'd agree with you. I like the autos because they are consistent, easy, and reliable. But right now, mine isn't shifting hard enough. I've got the firmness turned all the way up in the tune, but with the blower on now, and all the extra power it's making, it just can't shift but so fast. I'm gonna J-Mod it shortly. It'll shift then, and leave any 5-speeds around in the dust. :) (It normally does that anyway, though :D)

They are different. Same transmission, but different valve body. My granddad has an 01 auto GT and it shifts like there's no tomorrow! I wish mine would shift like that. Hopefully after the J-Mod, it will.
Back before the blower, I bought a programmer and firmed up the shifts on it. That alone dropped half a second in the 1/8 mile. Very, very noticeable difference. I'm running mid 8s right now in the 1/8, so maybe if I get the shifts firmed back up I can run some low 8s

I have a buddy who bought a 98 GT in 2000 with 25k miles on it, 5spd, all stock. It wasnt the fastest thing in the world.. I had an almost all stock 95 Z28 6spd, and he would not race me for shit :b All I had was the headers and exhaust along with a an auto-zone bought cold air intake :b it wasnt the fastest thing either, but I could never get him to race it to see where they stand. Now he still has that GT but with over 120k miles now, still nothing at all done to it.

Well, it's a stock, 12 year old, first generation, automatic, 4.6. Yes it's pretty slow. Loot at my newer videos. A few simple bolt ons solve that problem. 0-60 in 5.7.
Oh, and by tomorrow, it's gonna be a LOT faster. :)

I hear ya, and feel the same way. I have since done pretty much every bolt on except the PI heads and gears.
In other words: exhaust, PI Cams, PI Intake, UDPs, CAI, Custom tune, decent tires, and most importantly, the driver mod.
It went 8.98 @ 79.3 (1/8) which is a good few tenths faster than a stock PI GT, and that's through an automatic.

This car (just like it is in this video) ran a 15.1 at 90.5 in the 1/4 (with bad weather) with about a 6.5 0-60.
This car now (with only a couple hundred dollars worth of bolt ons) is running 0-60 in about 5.9. Heading to the track 2 weekends from now, looking for 14.1-14.2. Should be able to get it.
So no, your Cavalier is nowhere near as fast as this.

Steeda underdrive pulleys and a CAI: .1 seconds
SCT custom tune: I'd guess a solid .3 seconds
Better weather: .2 seconds

And while I'm pretty sure I won't get that much, I'll get over half. At least 7 or 8 tenths. And the exhaust, cams, and intake gains are proven gains by hundreds of people.

Just a little update.
Went to the track Friday night. My times (1/8 mile):
2.05 60'
8.98 1/8 ET
79.3 1/8 mph
So that's a .8 second and over 7 mph gain over my stock runs, just in the 1/8. And I have talked to a lot of people that made similar 1/8 mile runs that ran 13.8-13.9 at about 97-98 mph in the 1/4.
Hmm. 15.2 (stock) - 13.9 (logical estimate) = 1.3 seconds....
Seems my 1.3 second guess wasn't too far off, now was it?

It was not a V8, it was loud than my Dodge was. Idk if it was a really bad driver than, I couldn't tell you. It honestly doesn't matter to me, the Ram is more than fast enough for my needs. I personally am not a fan of the Mustang, but I don't feel a need to rag on anyone who owns one. I was just telling what happened.

Yes, there are plenty of trucks that can beat a Cobra, but no "stock or mildly modified" one that can. Yes, diesels can be fast. I've got several friends with D-maxes that will eat a Corvette. But that isn't a "mildly modified" truck. It is, as you put it, a "heavily modified" truck.
No, an 03-04 Cobra puts down 380 hp on the rear wheels, vs. an 03-04 GT that puts down maybe 235. So no, a Cobra actually has around 150 more hp than a GT. Even the newer GTs only put down around 280.

We've already been over the possibility of it not being an actual cobra. It's completely possible it was just a GT. No one knows. Point is, he got left behind. I was with 2 other people who witnessed it. The ram was 4wd 230hp maybe a lil more cuz of exhaust and intake. Transmission was brand new rebuilt with a shift kit. The mustang could have had 215-360hp. Idk the exact year. My truck was faster, and his Mustang was slower. Weight affects a small car and he had another person with him. so idk

A diesel ram will blow a v8 stang out the door easy with a tune. And my 1500 ram had 150k on the tranny when I decided to have it rebuilt. It didn't blow. My dad's had 180k on his 98 Ram. So idk what ur talking about. And no I didn't race a v6. A friend mine has a v6 and it couldn't even keep up with my truck, not even with my 4 banger escort gt I had.

A 94 Ram makes 335 ft-lbs of tq, vs a 1998 Mustang GTs 290, a 15.5% difference. A Ram weighs (I'm conservatively estimating) 4500 lbs, my car weighs 3400 pounds, a 32.4% difference. Even with your torque argument (which is wrong), the Mustang is still faster.
Peak torque means nothing. Amount of torque under the powerband means everything.

But, there's no way, with both drivers racing, in a fair race, a Mustang GT (or even as you claimed, a Cobra) will lose to an exhaust/intake Ram. Sorry, but it isn't going to happen.
And back to the torque argument, a Formula 1 car only makes 200 lb-ft of torque, yet accelerates 0-60 in about 1.5 seconds. Case closed.

I don't know what was done to my ram before I got it. But it wasn't slow in any way. Event with 33s on it I could smash it and leave patches down the block. It was an unfair race to me with 2 other passengers. Like I said tho, another passenger in a Mustang really slows it down compared to in a truck. A shortbed regular cab ram weighs less than 4500. And for the mustang. add two 180 pound people and that slows it down a lot.

The Ram is no where near slow. I don't even have it any more. I hated getting 11-15 mpg at best. What I drive now IS slow. I'm more concerned with a vehicle that's going to last a long time and decent mpg. I'm in a 91 Cherokee with 100k on the motor/trans, it's great offroad, but freeway driving isn't fun with something so tippy. I've never really been into the fast car thing, especially living in Michigan where I could only drive it half the year.

Look, for all I know, your Ram was some super-duper fast Ram with a built motor and spraying a 250 shot of giggle juice. And you may have won.
But you said that your 94 360 Ram with open headers and gears beat a Cobra. I, and several others, called bs. And it is. A Ram like you describe isn't even close to a stock GT, more less a Cobra.
And those gas Rams are slow. My brother in a stock 4.0 Ranger beat a intake, exhaust, throttle body, and tuned 05ish 1500 Ram.

@magazinedude2002 it's slow... my friend had a 98 ram 1500 with a 5.9 360 with straight pipes and a slipping tranny lol. it's all noise, all torque, no pick up on a roll. he traded it in 1 year ago for a 08 chevy silverado 4.7L w/ flowmasters and thats faster, but still slow lol.

If your talking about the dodge cummings with the holset turbo that i recently put on my car...lol... yes...a tune,exhaust would beat this mustang. But not a average dodge ram..your crazy..supposely you can beat every mustang with a POS lol. come to jerZ i wouldnt mind lining up.

Yea, a stock GT is slow, especially the 96-98 NPI GTs (like mine). But even so, a mostly stock 15 year old, 1500 Dodge Ram with a 360 isn't as fast. Not even really close. I have a friend that has a newer Ram with intake, exhaust, throttle body, etc., and it isn't even as fast as my brother's 4.0 Ranger. (Look at my other video's to see him spank it.)
And when you go to a 99-04 GT, it doesn't even get close.

It's also a 4-speed w/ AOD automatic. Mine has 3.27 gears. I think some of the GTs came with 2.73s, which is probably what you had.
I wish I had more gear than I have. I think 3.73s would be good for a daily driver like mine is, but for all out racing, I think I'd go w/ some 4.10s or 4.30s.

Tight! I saw the vid of you racing the TA..couldnt really see your car to well but what I did see..I liked! Actually...before I got my 96 Camaro..when I was looking....I almost bought a 1996 Mustang GT it was like a teal kind of green with tan leather, automatic, and had the 17inch GT wheels that are on like the 02 and up GT's I think? They look good..and it only had 38k miles. My cousin owns the car lot that it was at and was going to give it to me for $5,000...but i went for a gay V6

Yea, it does suck. NC School of Science and Math; nice school, but the rules suck. Be graduating in 50 something more days, though. And I'll be glad. I'll have it back when I go to college though. I got my GT in my freshman year too.

Yea, all I got for exhaust is a Flowmaster catback. Any chambered exhaust sounds good to me. Gonna get some longtubes and h-pipe some time for mine, give it a little more Mustang sound, lol.
I know a guy that has an old white V6 Camaro with the Boss wheels; looks pretty doggone good.

Ive heard that GM underrates their cars..and that when the SS says 345hp its more like 400..but the dyno showed 360...so I dont know? I know on the 1993 Z28 they were underrated...they showed 285 on the sticker but motor trend tested them and they showed close to 330??? I dont know though? But the girl I know with the Mustang..she also babies hers..and has not done anything to it..but its pretty quick...she just recently gave it to her daughter who turned 16..so awesome car for a 16 yr old

Probably 400 engine hp, but winds up more like 350 at the rear wheels. I know the 2004 cobra is rated at 390, but makes 415 at the engine, and about 375 at the rear wheels. Who knows.
Mine isn't babied, but it is taken very well care of. I only have 80000 miles on it. Primarily because I haven't hardly been able to drive it for the last two years. I go to a residential high school and they don't allow cars. =( But the plus side is I have a very clean, low mileage car when I do drive it :D

haha! Yeah 2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Camaro SS. Black Leather T-tops Chrome ZR-1 style SS Rims, all Ive done is cold air intake..it came stock with the SLP performance package at 345hp..had it dynoed and its now 360. Nothing too special..believe it or not..Im not into racing it and all that haha..I like to baby it. Only has 31k miles. And yeah the Blue cobras do look good! I personally dont really care for the TA either..but in black they are bad ass!

I don't know if I'll ever get rid of it or not. It's my first car, and I've paid for it and everything on it. I plan on getting a Cobra sometime after I get out of college. I'll probably wait and mod up that instead of my GT.
And oh yea, got come chrome Cobra R replicas. =) Makes the car look so much better.
Get some exhaust for that SS. I've heard it's worth a lot of hp, plus it sounds better

We are proving that two guys who are rivals can communicate nicely haha...also have you done anything to your GT, or anything? What color is it? I have a friend who has a 1996 Red GT Convt. She bought it new in 96 and it only has 115k...its very nice...black leather..I mean I like some Mustangs if they look right...and I cant say that I wouldnt ever drive one/own one..but it would be from 96-03ish...to me those were the best bodies...I dont care much at all for the 05's and up

Well I think that the Camaros have always looked better then Mustangs INSIDE and OUT...and of course they are faster out of the factory (until ford supercharges their cars).,..thats just my opinion..I respect yours too...but to my Camaros are more aggressive and sporty looking..they actually look like a Sports/Muscle car...Mustangs to me just look like any other 2 door coupe on the road. And the interiors are very horrible...cant compare to Camaro (to me)

Yea, to each one his own, I guess. IDK why, but I've just never been big on the looks of the Camaro. Although I do like the looks of the TA's.
And yea, the Camaros are faster than a GT from the factory. But I can take the money I save by buying the Mustang and put into aftermarket parts, and be plenty faster than the Camaro.
But like I said, to each one his own. I've always been a Ford guy, and I probably wont change my mind. And you probably wont either. =)

Yea, if the Camaro or TA was about $8000 cheaper, looked as good, sounded as good, had as nice of an interior, or was as easily moddable as my Mustang, I guess I might would consider one.
