  • No, taký tanec sa mi nepáči, ale aspoň kroj je v poriadku. Som veľmi rád, že je tu zachovaný starý pôvodný slovenský kroj. Ked vidím všeliaké tie vystúpenia pseudofolklóristov, kde ženy majú len "krojované" minisukne, som zhnusený, ako prznia a poameričťujú našu pôvodne krásnu čistú kultúru.

  • yeah, look at the bottle what one of the women holds..... oh what a sweet drunken tradition we have <3 ale važne, toto je niečo čoho sa slovensko asi nikdy nezbavi

  • well done:) pekne,ze sa tradicie uchovavaju

  • For Shame, they're just trying to have fun and uphold tradition. Granted its nothing like Sluk but something tells me our Slovak Ancestors wouldn't be as dolefully opinionated as yourself!

  • Simple, old good tradition is felt. I liked it.

  • Where is this at? This is phenomenal! I'm in a Slovak group in Pittsburgh! I love seeing other people my age celebrating their heritage! My friends always things I'm crazy when they see me dance but there are so many of us and we don't realize it!

  • Ahoj! This is from Windsor, Ontario, near Detroit. I'm sure there is a pretty large Slovak community in parts of Pennsylvania!

  • Awesome! There are tons of Slovaks in my city! Though after the fall of the steel industry the solid commmunities thinned out. Its kind of sad but there are lots of Slovak organizations throughout the city. When is this Slovak Village Festival?

  • Usually about the 2nd-3rd weekends in June. You can search for it on Google.

  • me and some of my friends are part of a slovak dance group. it is alot of fun. we can only dance during the summer. boy i miss it. good to see some dances and some moves i havent seen yet.

  • Thank you God for making me a Slovak Girl - I am so proud to see this - give me the chills and chokes me up. I am now going to research my heritage even more and just be "so proud of who I am ". I just love , love this video. THANK YOU!!

  • Where is this Slovak Village?

  • It's actually part of a festival, the Carousel of Nations, held for 2 weeks every June in Windsor. Most of the large ethnic groups have some sort of event.
