If you only drop the stone into the venus fly trap, nothing will happen, unless the stone bounces around a bit. The interior of the fly trap needs to be stimulated 2 or 3 times (like something moving around) then the trap will close. Thanks for viewing and for asking!
Yeah, you're right, this vid is a response video to another video. Above the video picture in the title the 'Re:' refers to a Response. i.e. Re: beautiful mantis vs. dragonfly! There are some really cool mantis videos put out by JohnaldChaffinch and other Youtubers. If you put his name or Mantis in the search you'll come up with a few! Good Luck Corey!
Venus has a substance inside its leaves that attracts flies and other insects to come in and snoop around. After a few steps, Venus claps her hands and says 'Thank you'. No flies were injured in the making of this video. Robin
We have two birdfeeders all year round & our "regulars" include: chickadees, doves, bluejays, woodpeckers, finches, cardinals, ans many more. It looks like the same birds & I know that they are territorial! I love to sit on the front porch & watch & have a good view in the winter as well! i think I'll do a video with all of the photos I took!
Thank you Marion, it really is a strange site. I apologize for the tardiness, I never received notice on these comments. You are greatly appreciated. Robin
