There's a folk group named MANDILA, formed by Greek and Italian vocalists, players and singers that some years performed this great song in a far better way. I do not know if they are still routing, but they were really ok. In 1996 hey also recorded a CD that was given a good attention.
This song is from the island my mum comes from, Limnos. It's in the North Aegean and the best version of this son i've ever heard was sung by Glykeria. These guys' vocals aren't that great but the music if amazing.
