  • Mmmmmmm... Lawrence is Lovely...... Vocally Talented and So Sexy!!!

  • @mandaliciousmae82 Oh yeah!!!

  • Man he was rockin' that mullet!

Saw Gowan perform live years ago, at a club now closed, and it was great - but so loud that my ears were numb to the touch for hours afterwads.

  • don't always log to your page GowanGirl, but have subscribed ( big deal i know lol ) but very much enjoy your updates!

  • This is my one of my favorite 80's songs. I had now wonder that I listen to the 80's and 90's.

  • He's a third lvl black belt ( I think )

So he can probably dance very well with that kind of flexability.

  • for Deb ...Love...keeewpid vancouver.canada <3 <3 <3

  • Thanks to my friend Taylor (You may now her she loves Styx and Gowan) I feel in love with Styx and Gowan. And this song :D

  • It's a great thing Jon Anderson was in this because if he wasn't then I wouldn't have discovered another great vocalist: Lawrence Gowan.

  • .they want me, they want me....ohhh and I want them too~

  • Great singer and performer.Guy could dance too.

  • Here's a hot scoop... He can STILL dance, got some pretty tight moves, actually.... go see him with STYX.

  • I met him in Vancouver performing at a club back in 95'.I am guessing that they only play Styx songs? Gowan had better music.

  • He has quite a backside, very strong thighs too, I'll wager.

  • No Gema we will get you backstage any time during the tour lover...sending....now...haunt me....

  • Gee, we met larry walking up Yoge Strret outside my office back in 1997, or so..such a nice fella...his drummer Phil Michaels went to high school with me, although i am 2 yrs. older,or so, but what a nice pool os talent we had back then in West End Toronto,Canada..the Falko brothers were also a magical family from Etobicoke,Ontario,Canada.

    Thanx for this....Guess who?

  • He certainly was a looker back then, wasn't he...

  • Yes, he sure was. Far from bad even nowadays, I think.

  • oh yea at the end of that sequence of quick clips gowan forms a silhouette of a star with his body then raises his hands..... neato, who made this video

  • pyramids, owls, moons, mayan calendar, explosion at 2:25 all in a row quickly. holy imagery batman.

  • Thanks for posting, gowangirl! I've been a Gowan fan since I saw him live in '86 and a Styx fan since I saw them in '78...

Have you ever seen the other 'Moonlight Desires' video? I have it on videotape (somewhere) and at about 2:50, it shows a close-up of Lawrence doing a prepare and a pirouette - showing off his dance skills!

  • Yes, I've seen that clip... thanks!

  • Whoa, he's soo sexy! I subbed you.

  • cheese never tasted so good.

  • The best part of this is at 3:10...

  • I liked Gowan´s music before I saw his videos. This was the first video I saw, and the moment I saw him, it took me one second to fall in love! GOD that look at 3.25... I would jump over him and rip his clothes to pieces!

  • I love how they kept that little bit where he loses his balance for a second (at 3:58).

  • ahhaha i just watched his house on cribs

  • Well done Gowan Girl!!

    Appreciate all your efforts!!

  • Thanks so much, but all I did was upload this classic and wonderful Gowan video for all the world to enjoy...Lawrence Gowan did all the work writing, conceptualizing and performing this music which stands the test of time!!

    He is MOST AWESOME!!

  • loooong time ago...not involving this video.

early 80's with ref to another "twilight zone" movie to best of my knowledge...

but i think i'm wrong on movie title...

  • Anyone know where I can find the full story regarding the aztec/music scene incident that involved a helicopter crash and equipment malfunction? Thank you.........

  • Just love this song. Has a haunting aspect; seems to just continue playing in my head long after it stops.

  • this is one of my favorite videos from back when i was a kid, tnks for posting it :) i wish he was still around musically :(

  • i believe he is, just taken over for Dennis DeYoung as the lead singer for STYX.

  • Actually, Lawrence Gowan is in his 9th year in STYX!!

  • love the vid, almost had a "surreal" experience sittin' on the hood of my car in a field back home while this tune was cranked on the ol' cassette deck (guess i dated myself there) NEVER forget it!

keep up thr good work GG!

  • @mccoobs , "surreal" as in maybe a past life memory of being a Great Horned Owl?
