Gee, we met larry walking up Yoge Strret outside my office back in 1997, or so..such a nice fella...his drummer Phil Michaels went to high school with me, although i am 2 yrs. older,or so, but what a nice pool os talent we had back then in West End Toronto,Canada..the Falko brothers were also a magical family from Etobicoke,Ontario,Canada.
oh yea at the end of that sequence of quick clips gowan forms a silhouette of a star with his body then raises his hands..... neato, who made this video
Thanks for posting, gowangirl! I've been a Gowan fan since I saw him live in '86 and a Styx fan since I saw them in '78...
Have you ever seen the other 'Moonlight Desires' video? I have it on videotape (somewhere) and at about 2:50, it shows a close-up of Lawrence doing a prepare and a pirouette - showing off his dance skills!
I liked Gowan´s music before I saw his videos. This was the first video I saw, and the moment I saw him, it took me one second to fall in love! GOD that look at 3.25... I would jump over him and rip his clothes to pieces!
Thanks so much, but all I did was upload this classic and wonderful Gowan video for all the world to enjoy...Lawrence Gowan did all the work writing, conceptualizing and performing this music which stands the test of time!!
Anyone know where I can find the full story regarding the aztec/music scene incident that involved a helicopter crash and equipment malfunction? Thank you.........
love the vid, almost had a "surreal" experience sittin' on the hood of my car in a field back home while this tune was cranked on the ol' cassette deck (guess i dated myself there) NEVER forget it!
Is that Teotihuacan?

Saw Gowan perform live years ago, at a club now closed, and it was great - but so loud that my ears were numb to the touch for hours afterwads.

He's a third lvl black belt ( I think )
So he can probably dance very well with that kind of flexability.

It's a great thing Jon Anderson was in this because if he wasn't then I wouldn't have discovered another great vocalist: Lawrence Gowan.

Here's a hot scoop... He can STILL dance, got some pretty tight moves, actually.... go see him with STYX.

I met him in Vancouver performing at a club back in 95'.I am guessing that they only play Styx songs? Gowan had better music.
rocketman0214 2 years ago
He has quite a backside, very strong thighs too, I'll wager.
