tidus dint die, tidus wasnt even alive he is just a dream of the fayth and like jecht he has been how you put in materialized. and when yuna and the gang defeated sin the fayth stopped dreaming and tidus faded but in ff x-2 there is a scene where tidus was back and met yuna again in besaid island (not beside)

Yeah, it was a good movie but many people were disappointed by it coz it had no connection whatsover with the game. But it was a good story nonetheless. You should try Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. (I'm sure you did already, :)
