Well, it could be worse. You can live in another country that have harsher sentences and the jails and prisons are a dump compared here in the United States which are like hotels. To make children is easy, but to take care of them the proper way is the challenge. Being a good parent is doing what is best for the children first and not putting yourself ahead of them.
