I hate how people try to capitalizes on everything even off of people living a long life if anything china should preserve the land and let them live, those people didn't get where they are by being exploited by the government.
I bet that oil that they fry the vegetables in have something to do with it. Green leafy vegetables have fat soluble vitamins that you can only release with a fat. In the U.S. we tend to boil all the nutrients out of our veggies.
I'd rather have a heart attack and die at 60 than live to 113 if I have to abstain from lots of sex, meat, smoking, drinking, drugs, etc....I dunno, just me. Is very pretty there though.

When the brain is overstimulated it will produce more given the action you take and sex is an activity that releases a lot of Dopamine which is no bad thing but excess amounts of sex will flood the brain with Dopamine thus in turn lowering Serotonin which will lead to Depression which will then cause mental stress that lessens life.

Yes the rates are high in this part of China but that is the result largely from geography and not entirely lifestyle (as in abundance!). I suspect the sex thing also has a lot to do with birth control, which less children to feed better health, less poverty starvation, less pregnancies better odds from death via preg,child birth etc.

A life like this is not as easy as you think it might be, it actually takes a bit of hard physical labor and abundance is not always the case in every underdeveloped region of the world. The eldest woman at 125 is testimony to that due to a food shortage she once experienced. It's still hard!

@parkourip In western society we are experiencing the highest rates of longevity ever known! Yes the rates are high in this part of China but that is the result largely from geography and not entirely lifestyle (as in abundance!). Go back hundreds or over a thousand years ago and the average life expectancy for white male was roughly 35 years of age not 70 and climbing as it is today! You don't know what you've never experienced so consequently cannot appreciate!

@parkourip The "problem" we DO have is long working hours, the banking system & corporate greed which in turn gives us stress! Its not the food, it's population reduction that is killing us, it's STRESS!! That is ONE thing that these people don't feel much of and that is WHERE they have it right! But you could never live like them because you are far to used to living the way you do now. Me on the other hand at age 37 am ready let all the modern trappings go and live like they do. but how!?
