one thing I think, that could still save some time is jumping across the gap instead of sidehop jumpslashing. I am not sure, but it should work nicely ;)
The strategy of collecting the first 4 all at once saved 1.5 seconds, and approaching the stairs by the windmill and an optimized grotto saved nearly a second. Basically the rest was manipulation. If all the cuccos had perfect manipulation (which would be incredibly rare) this would be like 3 seconds faster
If you turn around and do it while backwalking you keep backwalking speed. Normally you lose speed while backwalking up slopes but with that technique you keep full speed

one question ... @ 1:08 u fall in the hole ... and when u get out the coccos are still in the "cage" and not on there start location ... why?
every time i fall in that hole and get out there where at there start points

this is all manipulation. It's faster but can be improved more (especially with a better last cucco manipulation)

Couldn't you have used anolog slide isntead of z-slide? I really can't hear that z-sound anymore. XD
Other than that awesome. In a few places you could really see that it was faster
