  • My local dealer wanted to charge $139 to replace the cabin filter in my 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid. Highway robbery!! Thanks to your video and Amazon.com, I'm saving over $127 on an OE filter! I would consider sending some of that cash your way if they hadn't suckered me into paying the same price to flush the brake fluid...

  • Thanks!!! This is saving my about $75. in labour.

  • Thanks!!! This is saving my about $75. in labour.

  • Thanks for posting! That helped a lot!

  • Thanks, I was looking for it on my 2006 Civic Hybrid and your video helped tremendously. I also have a 2004 Civic Hybrid that had two annoying clips you had to pop off the glovebox before you could access the cabin air filter - I'm glad a Honda engineer thought of a better way for the 06+ models

    Lower the glove compartment.

Remove the cabin air filter cover by pressing the clips located at each side of the filter co...

  • Doesn't the Civic have two small cabin filters instead of one big one? I have an 07 Civic LX...

Same thing, parts and service cost was $80... ridiculous! Thanks for saving me some cash!

  • @mondoguitar so the two small civic filters just go side by side in the tray?

  • WOW- my dealer quoted 140.00 to change this filter. Great video, thanks.

  • Thanks man...saved me $73 at the dealership...where should I send your check?

  • Fantastic! My dealer wanted $100 to replace my cabin filter in my 2008 Civic. I declined their offer, went to the auto parts store and bought the filter for $17.00. I watched this video and popped the filter in. I will be doing more of this on both of my Hondas.

  • Is there a more awesome "how to" video on youtube? I think not.

  • Thanks a lot! It took me longer to watch the video than to replace the air filter! Make sure you match the airflow arrows

  • Excellent - I would have NEVER found the damn thing since it's behind the glove box compartment. I really appreciate your video. Good Job & keep up the great work!

  • The garage where I get my civic worked on charged me 26.00 labor to replace my cabin ac filter. If i knew it was this easy I would have done it myself.

  • id say we have to change that on the road trip about ten times hahahahaha

  • You get your money's worth when you buy a Honda. They are very reliable, well made cars.

  • what's the cabin filter for?

  • Filters the outside air so you do not get all that junk through your vents and into your cabin. Great when there is a bunch of dust outside...doesnt your van have one?

  • i have NO IDEA lol

i will ask my dad tonight

    thanks for that info
