  • "Cross the Rhine with dry feet courtesy of the U.S. 9th Armored Division." The Lundendorff Bridge at Remagen.

The 9th also defended Bastogne at the Battle of the Bulge.

  • I still dig this song and appreciate your upload and liked and fav'd despite the Iwo Jima slip at the end. This is one of the best military march songs of all time. I marched off the parade deck to this beat when I graduated Boot Camp March 17, 1995 Platoon 2082 Hotel Company MCRD San Diego OOH-RAH!

  • @TheDapperdan75 I remember this song too from my march across the parade deck April 18, 1997 with Fox Co, Platoon 2069. MCRD San Diego for me as well brother!

  • I can't here the tenor sexaphones.

  • As for Iwo Jima being in your video. Marines of the 4th and 5th Divisions landed on Feb. 19th, 1945. They were reinforced by the 3rd Marine Division 5 days later. The island was secured on March 26, 1945. On April 4th the island was turned over to the 147th Infantry Regiment of the US Army. So yes technically the Army was there, but they were not involved in the fighting or the taking of the island. So please do not list it as a battle that the Army was in.

  • @Tiburon421 You dumbass, you better read up on your history kid. The 147th did fight on Iwo.... and mutliple other islands in the pacific. The 147th had a lot of jungle warfare experience that they taught it to other Army and Marine units.

  • From 0:42 to 1:45... Oh, the monkey wrapped his tail around the flag pole; To let the wind blow; Up his hole. Then the people came to see the icy wind blow; Up his ass hole; 'Side the pole. Then the monkey laughed Oh ho ho ho ho hoo hooo; To let the people know; That it was time to go. And so they all went home; And came back the next day; To see it all again! Oh ho ho ho. Great show for this deserving old war horse. Thanks.

  • Iwo Jima? I put nothing of Iwo Jima you might be thinking of Vietnam.

  • actually you did, at 2:40 you listed iwo jima as one of the famous battles fought by the us army, and i, gunnymcoy, the marines, as well as other historians would agree that iwo jima is a famous navy/ marine operation. i enjoy watching your videos but just wanted to let you know about the error.

  • O yea my mistake I guess I got carried off there. My bad lol.
