1) get over the small vs big, concentrate on efficient vs nonefficient---size is relative top pop so its going to be somewhat "big" and there's nothing you can do about it.
2) If they only serve A Term (which isn‘t Con) nothing will get done because most things take time and if the person next chosen doesn't agree with said positions, that semi-done bill/idea/argument is gone; same with the next; next; next and so on.

For example, one I know named Ruben works at an auto-upholstery shop making over $2,000 weekly. If they charge $1500 to reupholster car seats, he gets half and can knock it out in about 3 hours, thereby getting about $250 an hour.

@willdrake1, you're also too brainwashed by partisan rhetoric. To you party means more than what's best for our country or state. You're the poster child for why I say political parties should be banned by law. Thereby forcing pols to run solely on their own records and the issues. And that's why I'm an Independent.
If you weren't so hung up on party, you'd understand why your "could've won" would have been a LOSS. Castle was a career pol, as is Coons. We want those types voted out of office.

1. Your rhetoric mirrors Libs. If you have feathers like a duck, feet like a duck, and quack liker a duck, though you may call yourself an eagle, many folks are likely to "mistake" you for a duck.
2. Your simple say-so regarding Ford merits no refutation. The many biographies I've read matched my assessment. Ford's common sense intelligence was superior to academia that you are so fond of.

2) Atleast you now admit you read what you like to hear. Vacuums are safe, I agree.
Question: If the people who wrote those "biographies" likely favor academia over common sense alone---since you call on theirown work to make your arguments "academically true" doesn't that mean you should be hating yourself?

Have you forgotten all the crap about education being lib brainwashing/better to not have it---that is unless its the "type" acceptable to you. Then you try and frame what you said about Ford using works of those, who I guess hold some kinda “academic” degree...and you don't see the issue there? How your whole point of view is: "well, its ok if I think its ok" “if doesn’t rock the boat”
So yes, you hear/see in a vacuum.

@willdrake1, when you get a chance, go back and take time to edit what you wrote. Some of it is a bit incoherent. Maybe you were tired and needed sleep at the time.
As for what I've read about Ford and the authors, it's been so long, and I've read several thousands of books in my life so far, that I certainly don't keep track of them. I figure what's of use to me I retain, and what's not I don't. Ford was that way too. That's one of the reasons I admired that in him. I'm not a trivia buff.

@tncdel People complain about career politicians then they complain about inexperiece and unqualified people running. How may I ask do you reconcile the two logically. You say you want to throw those types out of office. Give me your dream list of who should be elected and let us see how many are not experienced politicians. I challenge you. Even someone like Christine O'Donnell is running for the third time so she cannot be considered new in the game.
