  • Well, its been almost 2 years since my last drunk post on this video, and i'm here again to correct my grammar. I meant naaritive, in case you were wondering. That said, i still think about actraiser on a daily basis. That game was cool until nick arcade ruined it.

  • How did that Vulture (pardon me, Mad Dog, I'm a Fedsun myself) get out on the landing platform?

  • this game was so revolutionary of its time its unbelievable and yet people shun it today for bad graphics PPPSSSShhhhTTTT

  • How the hell did they get that Vulture there, what do they think it is supposed to be doing there and how are they planning to get it away once it is done doing whatever it is doing?

  • @immortalass It is called 'customisation.' Even 'mechs which do not normally equip jump jets can be reconfigured to mount them, if the pilot is willing to sacrifice some weapons and/or armour.

  • Just give me my old 166 Mhz PC I'd play this over the new crap anyday

  • spread your belongings ^^

  • One of the greatest games of all time

  • I beat the majority of the campaign with a Jenner outfitted with anywhere between one and three medium pulse lasers, and a shitload of heat sinks. I actually learned that the medium pulse laser is really underrated.

I learned this on the mission where you have to destroy a downed dropship. I was in a Warhammer that had gotten severely crippled, and all I had left was a single medium pulse laser. I killed the last THREE mechs with it and finished the mission.

  • clan wolf is the best clan because they were from the Kerenskys. Also before they switched alliances they were wardens who believed that they should protect the inner sphere and should join the new star league when it was made. However they split before that with Phelen Kell as their Khan. I always liked the wolfs too. The Ghost Bears were pretty epic too with their clawing ritual.

  • clan wolf was always my favorite. in mechwarrior 4 mercenaries i always chose the clan wolf ending just to remember the times i played mechwarrior 2.

  • Hi I'm recruiting for a clan called ASEG (all sniping experts groups) if u are interested in joining look at the steps below

    1.must be 13 or older

2.must 10 or more kills in a quickscope match

If u are interested here's my gt :FaLLOUTMASTERX5

  • @CODGODX5 Do recruits get outfitted with WHM-6Rs retrofitted with dual ERPPCs?

  • @CODGODX5 Stop spamming ... If you like CoD 4: MW that is an awesome game, but quickscoping is gay. Keep your recruiting to CoD vids. You are not a MechWarrior, you STRAVAG FREEBIRTH!

  • Interesting, i just found a pristine copy of mechwarrior 2: the titanium trilogy collection. The case isn't even cracked. I really have to play this sometime.

  • if any1 wanna join a MW2 (PS3) clan, msg me or leave ur PSN in my comments, we are a knifing/rushing/ninja clan

  • We are Clan Wolf. Children of Kerensky.

We carry the honor of his name on our shoulders as our fathers did before him.

The rememberance, speaks to us of the evil in man's will, of the reasons for exodus, and the rights of the traveler.

Arcadia, is our destiny and our right. Enlightenment is our gift.

By the blood names of our founders we must return, and protect that which is unique among the stars. Terra awaits us as it was written. We are the last of the Wardens, the sole hope for the Earth.

  • Always played as a wolf. Hell yeah!!

  • Im also looking for a recorder

  • Hey so i started a clan named BTKx it means born to kill because this is a quickscoping clan and if u think ur good enough to beat me then tryout and add BTKx--FaDeS the clan name is BTKx-- thanks

  • @MrSupatrain

    Your such a retard.

  • @MrSupatrain Those who brag are never as good as what they claim.

I will take you on, using nothing but a Fire Moth - and when I win, I won't even bother to join your 'clan' because if it is run by someone like you, then the rest of us good mechwarriors will only waste our time.

  • I don't know why people think things have changed so much. Just as much good money was paid for Mech Warrior 2 as I pay for new games, and have enjoyed dozens of new games in recent years.

Companies seem to be no more or less "greedy" than they used to. Sure, they've implemented some annoying copy protection, but that's been a more or less recent development. The only thing that really stands out are pirates' obstinate refusal to pay for the games they play.

  • @metalsushidog u can equip a mech with jump jets

  • why dont they make games like this anymore? is it too much to ask for a game to actually have a story and have it suck you in to the game. that's what i want.

  • @spleefrog9 Reserve your blame towards modern day Activision and EA. They were good in the '90s, but these days, they're freaking horrible. Sadly, the only guys I trust these days is Valve.

  • @blackyoshi1230 and i remember when they kicked ass, it just makes it that much more disappointing that they suck now.

  • @spleefrog9 Yeah, Activision gave us Heavy Gear and MechWarrior (along with a few other things), and I remember when Electronic Arts had the Square-Circle-Triangle logo and gave us Chuck Yeager... now these days, they're just cash whores.

  • @blackyoshi1230 and when they actually went by their whole name. (Electronic Arts)

  • This game is so Pagan! Funny how I didn't realize that when I was younger and playing this game on my 486DX when first came out.

  • my yougness !!!!

  • Wolves they are just badass

  • be proud of your belongings

  • A shame there hasn't been a great book written about Clan Wolf, the one's that I've read sucked, while the Jade Falcons have an awesome series =(

  • @SpawnofChaos2010 You thought the Blood of Kerensky trilogy sucked? Assuming those were the ones you read.

  • @Significantpower Blood of Kerensky was a bit of a let down, but only because they were written by Stackpole and his writing tends to get a bit dry and tedious after the first 100 pages.

  • I never much liked the Clan Wolf or any of the major Clans very much. It was the (then) Clan Snow Raven that held my fascination. But it's a shame they arse-fucked themselves into joining the IS and creating the Raven Alliance.

  • @VazzaPrime True true, but i have always had a place in my heart for clan Widow Maker. Never thought it should have been absorbed. Never liked SJ though.

  • @madcat789 Like I never thought the Snow Ravens would merge into the Raven Alliance. I always wanted a book to be written on them, but sadly those were left to Clans Jade Falcon, Wolf, Nova Cat and Smoke Jaguar...

  • @Gallowell As a Diamond Shark fan I share your pain.

Though I am contractually obligated to hate you cause of the whole Sea Fox incident. :P

  • @Significantpower haha aye, it went a bit far, but you did eventually get your surkairede, even at the expense of Khan Howell's life

  • @Gallowell Hey at least your own SaKhan stood up and put an end to it.

Though I am still amused by the scene of the Foxes effectively reintroducing the concept of trolling the internet (err, Chatterweb) into Clan culture.

  • @Significantpower Aye, he was a true traitor to the Clan in his time haha.

Don't mind the Foxes, they're probably just reeling at their own inadequacies and that of the useless of their Clan since its creation.

  • @Gallowell Yeah, apart from the near monopoly on the Clan tech market (as far as the IS is concerned) they have; they haven't done much. Though the same can be said for nearly every Clan that isn't called Jade Falcon or Wolf. Although military wise a few posters on the official forums generally had the Sharks as one of the top 5.

At least the Sharks and Ravens ended up better than the Homeworld Clans post-Jihad. At this point they haven't even confirmed if they are still alive.

  • What I want to know is how that Mad Dog even got up there.

  • @WardeL maybe a dropship?

  • @WardeL Either by Dropship or it has sacrificed some weaponry so that jump jets could be installed.

  • I find how the Clan Wolf Intro and Ending cinematics show how gradually the Wolves as we know them became more and more Warden in their beliefs--in the Intro, they still saw Inner Sphere freebirths (like me) as depraved and corrupt, requiring the Warden Wolves to enlighten and guide them. By the time of the Ending cinematic, they saw their Inner Sphere brethren not as barbarians, but as humans like themselves. Goes to show you our Warden Clan brethren are not that different from us at all. =u=

  • "We are Clan Wolf. You will be assimilated." Sorry, wrong franchise...

  • Clan Wolf!!! The protectors!! :)

  • Clan Wolf FTW!

  • This intro still gives me the chills. Epic!

  • @RoughNeck205 agreed dude, when i was young i remember thinking how smart and cool this guy sounded. and of course, giant battlemechs for the win

  • Hmm.. Arcadia, Wolves, and Lycaon? Nearly everything in the "Remembrance" speaks of the history of the werewolf, yet Lycaon is never mentioned. Without Lycaon, there would be no Wolf Clan. And why would you mention Arcadia without talking about the king of Arcadia and the father of all wolves?

  • Simply one of the Best Intro ever always getting Chills Clan Wolf Forever

  • how did the vulture get on that plat form it doesnt have jump jets

  • This is easily one of the best games I've ever played, even if the campaign is very short and linear. Every time I go a long period without playing it, I hear it call me back, and yet again I become a great MechWarrior nerd.

  • Nostalgia sometimes warps our view of things

  • too bad i can't play this game anymore on my new comp

  • Mw2 mec warrier 2. Or mw2 modern warfare 2 that's my faverit. It is so stubidt

  • I'd love to see a technological updated version of this - maybe Living Legends could serve as a foundation for a fan project?

  • I remember guys...when I was like a wee lad my dad took me to the game store ever week at our local mall. I remembered going to the shop just happy to look at all the games and picking one up. I had a Windows 95 PC that served me well through the years. I remembered how I used to open that casing and just let the PC install my game and then I would spend hours just playing that...I still play games but I yearn for the days of Mechwarrior, Army Men(yeah I know :P), Settlers, Age of Empires etc..

  • That is such an epic wolf howl

  • epic intro!!!!!!

  • Almost every time I played this game, I preferred Clan Wolf over Jade Falcon, mostly because Clan Wolf attitude is that of a sentinel or guardian. Jade Falcon are warriors, conquerors, and have a very sinister sounding intro, I was practically scared off by their intro. Second, because, by the intro, Clan Wolf appears to prefer Mad Dogs over Timber Wolves. Finally, because Wolves are cool.

  • @SentinelPhoenix

The Timber "Wolf" is Clan Wolf's signature mech. They just also use Mad Dogs a lot as well.

  • @Intranetusa Crap, you're right. I always got em mixed up.

  • In the Mechwarrior universe, Arcadia is actually the name of a planet, one of the five "Pentagon worlds" near the Kerensky cluster. That's the "Arcadia" mentioned in this video, not some place in werewolf myth.

Most of the clans have very few religious beliefs, or treat the clan way of life itself as a religion, including things like zellbrigen, batchall, and the other rituals and honors of the Clan way. But the Cloud Cobras do see conventional religions as compatible with Clan traditions.

  • Wait a sec... Arcadia? Clan Wolf wants to defend Arcadia? So, not only is Clan Wolf Pagan, but also takes from Werewolf Lore. Lycaon, the first Werewolf, was the king of Arcadia. Lycaon was also a big jerk that slaughtered a child and served it to Zeus. Not impressed by his jesture, Zeus cursed Lycaon and his bloodline to forever being Werewolves -- hence the Lycans, and I guess the birth of Clan Wolf.

  • The Jade Falcon intro has an "evil" tune compared to the Clan Wolf intro.

  • I don't know why,but theres many reasons why i like this clan the most.

A: Theiry primary color is red,red is cool

    B:Their wolfs,wolfs are cool.

C: Their enemies are a bunch of green birds, green birds are gay.

  • @madcat789 exact same reasons why i played them too lololol

  • @madcat789 Plus the Warden cause seems more just and right than the Crusaders. The Wardens were more open, so if Terra was taken by them and a new Star League created it would be far better than one created by the Crusaders.

  • Is there an implied connection to Paganism in Clan Wolf? First off, ancient Pagans thought of the wolf in the highest regard. Also, Pagans tended to NOT destroy the planet. Clan Wolf seems intent on saving planet Earth - much like modern Pagans.

  • @ImoenOfTelengard

All the clans were quasi-pagan. Though of course your definition of paganism is wrong. Modern paganism has absolutely nothing to do with ancient paganism besides the fact that both are completely divorced from logic, reason, and evidence.

  • @Fetchdafish Well Clan Cloud Cobra had members of practically every faith and seek enlightenment through a consensus between different spiritual viewpoints. But your right about the rest.

  • @Fetchdafish

All religions are devoid of evidence, and mostly devoid of logic and reason.

That doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing though. Faith in something is not necessarily a bad thing.

  • @Intranetusa

It could be an inconsequential thing. Typically it's an unhealthy, dangerous thing.

  • @Intranetusa I have faith in condoms...

  • @LONGIRAFFE

    99% success rate

  • Epic, just Epic.

  • Clan Wolf FTW

  • This game was made back before developers became obsessed with technology. Yeah it was cutting edge back then, but it was still the 90s and games were more personal. After watching this, im reminded that not only are games today half ass products designed to make money (we all knew that) But moreover they lack quality narrive. Its time producers stopped hiding behind technology, and started investing in content.

  • @conro25

Back when this was made, the people who even knew PC simulation games existed probably had IQs above the 99th percentile. Same with the developers,

Nowadays video games are made for the same crowd as television (everyone) and they're accordingly mundane, PC, and just ...stupid. What can you expect? People want to shoot, die, respawn, ask their headset who its daddy is, shoot, die, respawn...

When this was new it felt like the singularity had arrived. It was so immersive.

  • @Novantii Guess we will always have the odd game like Skyrim but for the most part yeah.

  • @Novantii One of the main reasons 90% of my video game collection is over 10 - 15 years old.

  • @conro25 Damn that is VERY well said. I totally agree with you!

  • @conro25 Give me a break! If you came across a really well-made game but it had the graphics of an early 90's game, you would never buy it! But, if you found a so-so game with stunning graphics, there is a higher probability you would buy it. Don't put yourself on a pedestal, you would buy mindless, eye-candy games just like the rest of us.

  • @ImoenOfTelengard Who has a choice anymore? Cheap, all-graphics-bad-gameplay video games are dime a dozen nowadays (which is also to say they are overpriced). There's only a few where the gameplay is nearly as stunning as the graphics. For instance, Battlefield BC 2 has an interesting storyline and more realism compared to most FPSs. It also actually requires some skill to snipe in that game, in that it is next to impossible to quick-scope and you have to adjust for gravity and bullet speed.

  • @conro25 Well spoken and true. Thanks for a good comment.

  • @conro25 I think you're playing the wrong games. :)

  • @conro25 I remember when this was still on the shelves and let me tell you: people were pretty damn obsessed with graphics back then as well. It's a selling point and always has been, unfortunately it's much easier to judge the cover then the content. Shit, don't you ppl remember when PC Gamer did absolutely NOTHING but make in-jokes about Lara's "amazing" polygon tits?? When QII came out, people initially talked more about the 3D accelerated lava then the railgun. The list goes on.

  • gave it a good rating :]

  • i totally remember playing this as well, damn fucking old school haha good times

  • Right from the start of every mission my heart would start to beat a little faster. The bleep of the computers and HUDs powering up and the whine of the reactor. The dropship would power off and all of a sudden there you are alone with your mission to complete and nothingto rely on but your own skill and prowess. Even the music used to do the same.. especially the track "landing complete"

  • @ginjaninja1988 yes, i remember that

  • That vulture must be feeling pretty lonely stuck on that ledge with no way out...

  • we are clanwolf, children of kerensky. we carry the honor of his name on our shoulders as our fathers did before. The rememberance speaks to us of the evil in mans will, of the reasons forexodus and therites of the traveler.Arcadia is our destiny and our right. Enlightenment is ourgift. Bythe bloodnames of the founders we must return, return and protect that which is unique among the stars. Terra awaits us as it was written...we are the last of the wardens, the sole hope for the earth.

  • *sniff* This game was so good. It's one of those games that you wish a company would release with updated tech (mostly graphics).

  • @PedanticTwit Agree. All three Mech 2 games

  • hehe...i used to be able to recite those lines...lol

  • wow, this brings back so many memories!

  • I had some good times playing this, back in the day. Still have all my old software, but none of it will work.

  • i used to love this shit

  • There was a FS2 mod that had ASFs, dropships, jumpships, and warships. Sadly it died. But you finally got to get a real good look at just how big some of those things were. Also, pissing off a McKenna was a really really REALLY stupid thing to do. But it sure made for some pretty fireworks.

  • Naval Autocannons, lasers, AR-10 (CMT), 12 Heavy Naval PPCs, NAC/40s, NL55s, AR-10s, with a support of 50 aerospace fighters - you are saying you were stupid enough to even attempt going after a thing like that?

  • Considering I've gone after a Sathanas, willingly, in a mod where ALL the non-anti-ship weapons on all ships were replaced by anti-fighter beams, and with 2x the firing rates....

Yeah, a McKenna doesn't even scare me anymore.

  • I always wondered if they we ever going to make a infantry or elemental based MW game, I think that would be especially awesome...

  • An Elemental-based game actually sounds like a pretty good idea, as long as it is based around one of the less-appeared Clans or even AeroTech, from the Snow Raven point of view

  • It doesn't even matter :P...

    ---

I think the best one to do though would be Diamond Shark or something based on Wolf's Dragoons or the Grayson Death Leigon. I'd also love to see an RPG or first person shooter with Cassie Suthorn as the main character (Camacho's Caballeros)...

  • Personally, I think the Wolf's have been done to death. They are already in the games and all over the books, and I'm pretty tired of hearing about them, even the lesser-known Wolf Dragoons. Something from a relative unknown would be so much more reshing - The Gray Death Legion, as you say, or even somethin from The Black Thorns (Jeremiah Rose)

  • I agree. I'd also like to see something from Liao/Marik or periphery state... even a kind of Sims game with periphery states...

  • There are some brutal missions. Like you are sent in a light scoutmech on a reconisance mission and face two stars of clan assault mechs. It has its nasty moments. In the expansion pack you will face an atlas in a cave labyrint underwater. Or shooting up as spaceship hull and leap from one ship into the other shooting the core. This game is as cool as it can get. Surely... it aged but it will never be forgotten.

  • The MechWarrior games are among the very few first-person shooter games that have aged so well, considering how much attention it's still getting, almost 20 years later.

  • This game was made back when games took more than two hours of running and shooting to beat. Games today are too dumbed down and pussified. Why does all my health come back when I hide behind a fuckin' box for five seconds?

  • Yeah, not to mention back in the day, story was all it took to please the player.

  • @Ausare

I'm not sure what game you are playing, where your health comes back if you hide behind a rock... In MechWarrior, any damage you took was complete until you either won the mission or were shot to hell.

  • @gribae he was talking about how in games today you get your health back really easily.

  • @Militantcheese

Then I really need to apologise and learn to think before jumping at conclusions!

  • @Ausare Exactly! I loved mechwarrior because it was not easy. Gameplay was in depth and complex.. When it went bad.. it went real bad! lol HUD glitching.. comp failing, arm gone and on fire.. gimping your way through. . There no running jumping like a jackass. no turning on a dime. no seemingly endless amounts of ammo.. You had to fight for everything.. and sometimes just to survive! I'll never forget the beautiful sound of a mech powering up and hud blipping to life and how beautiful it was.

  • @Ausare yea i hear that

  • @Ausare Yeah, I remember this game growing up. It was right up there with Modem Wars (which ages me). But anyhow, this game was pretty intense and engrossing. The only thing that comes close to it is Baulder's Gate II.

  • @Ausare those were the good ol days when games were orignal instead of fucking copys of eachother

  • @Ausare

Oh, health isn't the problem and you know it. The problem is substance. Games lack substance because budgets go elsewhere. For instance, large sums of money are sunk into graphics alone and engines specifically designed to make the game look flashier and prettier. Naturally, this eats up development time and resources. Not only that but it takes up space on game disks leaving very little for anything else.

    Figure it out from there.

  • @Mahbu These designers spent less of a fraction of their budget on story than a designer like Infinity Ward does, considering how much voice actors and animation of speaking faces cost. No, regenerating health is to "improve" game pacing, to make it more like you're playing an action movie, with nonstop noise and violence. Games where you need to make tactical and strategic plans regarding things like health allow for more game depth, but can't hold the attention of the Xbox crowd.

  • @Ausare

That's just nitpicking. By the same token, you can argue that non-regenerative health is there to artificially inflate difficulty in lieu of anything truly challenging.

But we both know that's not entirely the case just as regenerative health does not take away anything from tactical or strategic depth. Do you even understand what strategy or tactics are? You make it sound like they exist in very specific conditions which is ridiculous.

  • @Ausare

I'm starting to suspect this has less to do with health and more to do with the typical PC elitist attitude. Come on. . "xbox crowd"? Really? We're still going that avenue? Are they too casual and easygoing for you? If that's the problem, then PC gaming has waaay more, what with WoW sitting pretty with 11 million casual-loving challengeless crowd.

But nevermind that. Regenerative health doesn't remove anything but, as you say, it does streamline and remove the limits of health packs.

  • @Mahbu You trollin', son? In my playthrough of MW2, I probably fired enough bullets to singlehandedly revitalize the economy through arms sales and I never once ran out of ordnance, or deviated from the single, narrow path the game wanted me to take. You could exercise tactics well enough, but the strategy I like in my games is stuff like choosing your team's hardware and approach vector, timing your attacks, splitting elements to complete different missions... stuff that console games won't do.

  • @Mahbu There should be just as much game between the levels as in them, is what I'm getting at.

  • @Mahbu Seriously? Health packs don't remove anything of the game you play?

Health packs in a game to me = cheating. If you can't finish a mission without having to use any kind of health pack (of which there are NONE in MechWarrior), then you might just as well go and grab all of the codes and passwords for a game at gamefaqs.

    No one plays honestly anymore...

  • @Gallowell

The difference is that the enemy AI in Mechwarrior sucked enough that you can get by entire missions without regenerating your health. Also, you had different health for different parts of the body, which makes it easier for you to survive as opposed to having a single health bar for the entire body.

  • @Intranetusa

Different games require different mechanics. Some need health its, some don't. Some might have regenerative health, others don't. Some don't even let you regain health until your mission or, hell, the entire game is over.

It comes down to how many enemies, what kind of cover system (or cover at all) is present, how difficult the game is or is supposed to be, whether they are aiming specifically for challenge, how intense the shootouts are, etc. It is not a simple question.

  • @Gallowell

This is what we call an opinion. It is an opinion along the lines of "quick scoping". Some will argue that it takes skill, some would denounce it as an exploit, others would call it cheap or pointless. No one can really agree or come to a factual conclusion.

It would be a fair thing to say "to each their own" but I'm sure people like you can't accept that. You remind me of those people, and correct me if I'm wrong, that make up all these rules and expect others to play by them.

  • @Gallowell

Now when I say "make up rules", I don't mean (specifically) "oh, I'm bored so let's do a knifes only game" in a game without any sort of game mode remotely resembling that. I mean like "anyone that hides sucks terribly, you can't hide" and you tell it to strangers. Like "these guns or these items are too cheap and should not be used" in a game where you cannot remove weapons in game setup. Nitpicky spoiled little self-important nonsense like that.

  • @Shadow1997Hawk You are a fucking jackass!!!

(Original comment is on page 7)

  • Hard?

  • sheezus i used to play this when i was a kid sooo much lol.

  • I was just thinking that. I remember most of the intro dialogue haha.

  • I loved this game so much long ago, but isn't it interesting that actual people are never seen in the game?

  • Not really. The game itself is primarily about the 'Mech and incorporating the fans of the book and table-top game to climb aboard and blast someone to hell.

Remember that this was released in the early 90s and that simple shooter games like this was all that was needed to satify the avid fan.

  • I guess you're right. :) I sure loved it lol. Recently I went through all my older PC games and I came across the CD-ROM for MechWarrior 2 and I tried playing it on my computer. Unfortunately it won't play, I think it's because I have Vista. Do you know if it's playable on XP?

  • I loved playing this game, I have many fond memories of it! :D

  • my fovorite clan

but i dont under stand why that mad dog is standing on that tiny platform

  • @evaunit143 He's just that bad ass.

  • Wardens rule all. They are the only true hope for a renewed Star League. Crusaders are a buch of racist lunatics.

  • @wuushew

What does race have to do with the crusader beliefs?

  • Warden attitudes towards freebirths are far far more liberal than those of most Crusader clans. Do you think the Jaguars and the Falcons are paragons of humanism? In fact their hateful pride spills over not only to their inflated sense of genetic superority but a caste superiority complex as well.

If I was ever to play a Clan it would be only be Diamond Shark, Wolf-in-Exile or the now cool warden Ghost Bears.

  • So was Smoke Jaguar one of the more antagonistic Clans or what?

  • The Clans are split into two factions. Warden and Crusader. Crusaders want to invade the Inner Sphere and rule over it as the Old Star League did while Wardens want to avoid the IS and only return if threatened by an External force (aliens) or an extremely damaging internal force like the Word of Blake's Jihad which fired off nukes and destroyed large parts of Earth and the IS. Smoke Jaguar alongside Clan Jade Falcon were more outspoken for their faction.

  • Just out of curiosity, is Clan Ghost Bear part of the Warden Faction, or the Crusader Faction?

  • @AGT619

Clan Ghost Bear started off as a Crusader Clan, but after the devestating defeat the Clans had at Tukayyid, they switched and became Wardens, abandoning all of their planets and moving into the Inner Sphere.

  • @Satan55

I think your reasoning is slightly wrong there. The Wardens don't want to avoid the Inner Sphere altogether - they merely want to protect it from its enemies.

Look closer and you'll find that Clans Ghost Bear and a faction of Clan Wolf live IN the Inner Sphere, and that Clan Sea Fox regularly use it for commerce.

  • That is post invasion and post Refusal War. Before that Wardens only wanted to return if a large threat befell the IS.

  • The most antagonistic up there with jade falcon in wanting to invade the Inner sphere.

  • Then I guess they got what they deserved when they were annihilated by the Inner Sphere, right?

  • @AGT619

Smoke Jaguars were the most ferocious of the Clans, which is why they were chosen in the Twilight series. The Falcons coming in a close second.

  • i remember playing this game when i was like 7, still have the disk, but damn vista cant play it *sad face*

  • If you have a DOS version, you can play it through DOSBox (be sure to make a BIN/CUE image of it for optimum performance, something in the program really messed up the physical disc-reading).

  • @Krogoth04 I used to play it on PS1 and PC, I'm sure you can run it in DOSBOX. Google it.

  • @Krogoth04 download Linux. You can play both Vista and MW2 :)
