the pilot carries full responsibility for this, ATC controller had warned that they were too high from the runaway during approach, it seems that he ignored both the ATC and the co-pilot, maybe he should start flying FS9 or FSX aircrafts

That is very sad..My condolences to the family..I want to comment to "burrichello" don't blame it to the BOEING.Check human error you don't even know for sure it's factory error.Perhaps if they spend more money to get a really good maintenance for each airplanes that they have,either old or new airplanes or even get more training to their mechanics regards the maintenance.Probably we can prevent this accident.

I would imagine that the center wing tank fuel is being heated to flashpoint by the fire and also with the heat on the tank the pressure is mounting because of the heat and those "banging noises " could be the center wing tank bursting and then exploding.

this isnt fotoshopped its for real. its a channel 7 [an australian network]cameraman who was injured on this flight and kept rolling. its been all over the news down here. whats more our governments sent out countless ppl to help out
people say that its sick to film disasters like this but i think its good that people want to capture wot they have been through as documentation for the history books. amazing footage, and the cameraman had a broken leg too he deserves an award for this i think.

The person who filmed this was an Australian Cameraman who worked for channel 7, who was in the crash with the plane.
You can still hear the jet engine whirring. Thats the high pitched noise.
