Perhaps I should leaver the greater and go to teh Newcastle Permanent. At least they have ads filmed in my hometown where they are based, and are not in some random american street with random lampposts and parking meters that look like they from 1980's

lol i live in the city that the greater is actually in and i'm telling you that looks nothing like Newcastle! i can't believe he agreed to do the ad; the good thing is he didn't do it for money because my mum works at the Newcastle Herald (obviously the local paper) and they go to interview him (i can't believe that either) and he said he did the ad because, well he just felt like doing it! they didn't even pay him that much!

the only thing i find funny about this campaign is that, for some reason, Jerry Seinfeld agreed to do an ad for a company with a track record of horrible tv commercials. Good to see the building society members' money going to good use...
