Wow that was so gritty! I remember watching this whole campaign on Grange Hill at the time & I have to say that it scared the living daylights out of me! I think that in this day & age of political correctness this sort of thing wouldn't be allowed to be shown in case it scared kids. Good on Grange Hill for drawing attention to it in a way other programs couldn't get close to & good on you for acting it so well! Thanks for uploading.

I have to correct u here mate, He's ' havin' a Dig ' NOT 'chasin' the dragon'. Chasing the dragon is a term used when smoking smack on the foil! u chase the blob & smoke along the plate. Pinning up is another term. smoking heroin is a little bit different to injecting, takes a little longer to feel the effects cos u have it gradually, not in 1 go like in a pin. Also burning it burns off some of the crap thats cut wiv the smack, safer in my opinion. NEVER SHARE ANYTHING!! NOT EVEN A SPOON!!

Hey Lee i was so in aww of you as a kid as at the time in Grange Hill you were just like a couple of years older than me and like a super hero to me, lol. I was watching this storyline on Grange Hill back in 1985 and I don't remember all this. They would never have shown this at 5pm on BBC1 before Willow the Wisp! I just remember Ro'land finding Zammo off his tits in the backroom at his work - next thing I knew he was in Rehab and the hippy art teacher was talking to him about growing tomatos!

Such a shame that Grange Hill had to be axed, i know its, i suppose not as good as it was in the 70's/80's but it would be great for you to of done an guest appearance as Zammo who goes back 20 years on and talks to the kids about Drugs and how bad they are, like the guest appearance which Todd Carty (Tucker) did a few years back.

hi rich, this was for a film i did called "boxing clever" it was not long after grange hill as for jimmy flynn he was played by terry Kinsella and was a really good friend of mine as we both went to the anna scher theatre school together, he picked me up recently in his cab as he is now a black cab driver, also i see a lot of erkan who played roland we are on nuts tv together this friday night (29.02.08) thanks for your support with baby, cheers lee mac.
