It's all about ratings. At first, it was something they were seriously looking into..but paranormal things don't always happen, so they have to 'make it happen' so ratings will stay up there..basically selling out for the money. For all the tards, let me explain it in simplest form, dealing with ghosts should be a spontaneous documentation, meaning all aspects shown on tape should not be planned out nor scripted. No matter what, there are no "shots" just documentation of what happened. The above is what you would call a SHOW, so it's an obvious fake.

I do not see anything in that clip that is stagged in order to fool anyone. This show is like ANY OTHER show that has a production staff with them. Their producers as well as cameraman and sound treat this like any other show done for television. All that is going on in that clip is the producer stops them, lines them up, then tells them to proceed. It is a TV PRODUCTION! ALL TV PRODUCTIONS are going to have things like this. It does not prove it is staged, just PRODUCED. People grow up!

Ghost Hunters is sort of a victim of its own popularity. Early on it really was the cameras simply following them on investigations. I honestly never expect much out of the live Halloween shows since being live, they have to be so heavily directed and choreographed. It takes three or four times the number of people following a team around on the live show as it does a regular show. With all the semi's and generators running, what ghost would came out to play anyway?

Zack, Arron, and Nick, on Ghost Adventures at least show there screw ups. They use new and exciting equipement and dont wrap it up an hour after they spent 6 hours setting it up. I love hearing the voices speak thru the box.

I am sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone. This is just my opinion. I know alot of people are upset thinking these shows are staged out. Personally, when I watch these shows, I watch them in the mind frame that it is "ENTERTAINMENT". In order for any show to have the required material to make a show, I am sure a little bit has to be choreographed at least, "reality" based or no. I don't have that much time on my hands to pick it apart. If you want to watch it, just enjoy it or turn the channel.

Read the fine print that's put up on some of these TV shows. It doesn't mean that it's all fake, it just means that it's TV.

Initially, the whole Ghost Hunters program started off with (IMO) some credibility. But, as the series progressed I began to see that unlike what they were claiming, the investigations these people were doing weren't geared towards furthering the field of paranormal research, but more to the point of making the show itself. Whenever that happens, well producers, writers, and the whole 'Hollywood' infestation begins to tear it all apart.

We were all huge fans. EVP's happen after the fact, you dont hear them live. That voice was loud and happened live in real time. This itself doesn't determine that the show is staged..however anybody that doesn't have down syndrome probably knew about 99% of reality shows have a scripted plot and are not improvised on the spot as they would like you to believe.

They are not staged, but there is only so much you can say for the camera. They did have to wait for the cue, except who ever was filming was very bad at it all night. Did you see how often they were just sitting around all night? It was like they didn't have very much to do while they were supposed to be ghost hunting. Plus they just kept going to the same rooms.

I have to disagree - Just the premise that they perform complete "ghosthunts" in 8 hours and determine from their evidence acquired in that time whether or not a location is active, is not only ludicrous but pretentious. I lived in a haunted house and it was not active EVERY day, but a good portion of the haunting activity, when it occured, happened during the day. Ghosts don't perform on cue and neither do the TAPS team, apparently!

"Ghosts don't always perform on cue" is something that the TAPS invesigaters say regularly, and they only actually say a place is haunted if they have substantial evidence to back their claims up. If they get no evidence because a place is just not active for them, or they are able to "de-bunk" what evidence they did get, then they tell the person who called them in that they don't have enough evidence to say whether is haunted or not.
