  • i am in Mumbai India... A digital like the Allen Renissance 3 manual or Rodgers masterpiece... or ANY good one.... :).. We play on Yamaha psr keyboards in church....

  • What a great sound.. and great playing.... SIGH som1 please donate a good pipe organ to us in India

  • @resultant64 : Where are you and I will ask the Australian Government to supply you with one ?

  • It will be interesting to find out when the instrument is back in order following its repair

  • I'd love to hear this organist perform in an acoustic that could tolerate his idea of the fugue tempo.

  • It is a very good interpretation! Our God bless you!

  • kevin teaches me :D!

  • This tempo is way faster on the fugue than I have ever heard. I like it though. It would have been really nice to watch their feet

  • spectacular i love it and im a trance guy too

  • If I was being very mean I'd point out the mistake around 6.16. However, a very masterful performance none the less. Shame about the acoustic.

  • Interesting performance. I'm a firm believer that JSB may be played on any organ. Having said that, (and may I say I also enjoyed this recording), from a 'purist' viewpoint this Harrison organ is pushing the credibility of using a very English Romantic organ for the ultimate in Baroque just a little bit...........Was that diplomatic enough or what!!!

  • Oooooh, I love love love this piece! And the part towards the end where there are running trills in the treble (punctuated by the pedal) is my favorite part. I hum the double-trill part in my head all the time (I don't out loud, my voice stinks), it is my favorite earworm/brainworm/etc.

  • The fugue effectively turns into mush. The acoustical environment certainly cannot support this tempo. Otherwise the execution seems admirable.

  • Interesting interpretation! This wouldn't be Carlo Curley by any chance?

  • No, Kevin Bowyer.

  • Gd but i do dont like the interpretation

  • Can someone provide information about the recording? Who was playing, is this part of a larger CD? Is it available for purchase? Thanks!

  • Hi there! I have this on CD which I bought from St. Mary Redcliffe a couple of years ago. If you inbox me an email address, I will happily email you MP3s of the CD :-)

  • Wonderful playing and Beautiful interpretation of this magnificent work.

  • This rivals Virgil Fox's playing this work by Bach.Truly beautiful to listen to.
