wao i am barely able to hold a note for 1 measure....could you PLEASE give me some tips on how to expand my lungs? i started not to long ago, and i desperately need to work on my lungs
@MrChaud1 maybe it's your saxophone..try different strength reeds or a different mouthpiece? just start breathing exercises..keep trying to hold a note for as long as you can. that's all.
@MrChaud1 there's no need to expand your lungs, they're fine the way they are. what you need to work on is how to use the air they can hold. if long notes are not working, then try holding long notes while not losing sound quality, and practice that at all kinds of volume levels.

My high school had one for these saxes... the octave kea would always fall out of the plastic hole. Then i got a 62 no more problems.

Very nice. Sounds a bit clearer than my yanagisawa. But that depends on the person behind I guess.
