  • I believe in order to reach out to more people one should change methods and possibly the way it is presented, but don't change the Truth or try and water it down to please people. Not saying that is the case here. People just need to remain focused on the ultimate goal and be aware that their words and actions will show their true faith.

  • Actually, I take that back. They are saying a whole lot. They are manipulating people to change their beliefs by appealing to an idea of relationships and finding ANY common ground in order to create synthesis between opposing ideas, in this case, abandoning true Christianity altogether through the trojan horse of "change". Ponder that please. It's still a bunch of nonsense, though.

  • To SwedishRockKid -- higher conversation? Hardly...it is nonsensical psychobabble of the most basic kind. It is the art of saying a whole bunch of words without actually saying anything. It sounds intellectual and smart but it is really just a whole mess of garbage. End of story.

  • So... where in the bible does it say to reach 18-30 year olds?

  • Thanks for posting this so we can all share our comments, good or bad.

  • PS. I'm 27 and this is still nonsensical drivel. Go to Charles Spurgeon if you want guidance, not these children in understanding.

  • This is Christian how?

  • I love how fundamentalist Christians cannot understand higher conversation. Can you seriously not follow this conversation? I guess if you are too stupid to understand adult talk, you can always just make fun of the guy's hair. And we are the shallow ones?

  • I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Matthew 11:25KJV More scripture below but if you're not saved you won't understand it.

  • That's probably why you don't get it... probably not saved.

  • I agree with everyone above, as this is basic dribble and how are all these emergent church people getting invited to Willowcreek? McClaren, Miller and Kimball.

  • Oh for pity's sake, just put a gun to my head because I simply cannot for the LIFE of me figure out why seemingly functioning adult 'Christians' fall for this nonsense. They talk and talk and blog and blog and say absolutely NOTHING of value, biblically or otherwise. I have been a believer for eons, and there is nothing to commend about any of this.

  • Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. (2 Corin 6:17) "Lord, help me to be willing to be different. Forgive me for the sin of blending in. I pray that our neighbors would see something different in our church and our people and be drawn to the Savior. Amen." A.W.Tozer, Tozer on Christian Leadership

  • Mt.16:24 .. "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me." Also see:Mt.10:38,Luke 9:23,14:27,Mark 8:34. Say NO to self! "..you can't argue against the teachings of Jesus.." This is the only thing worthy of AMEN! I too believe that Jesus is part of the "change" being babbled about here. Could it be He's sorting wheat from the tares?

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • Perhaps the greatest load of drivel I have yet to have heard - almost ever. That makes sense - take direction from a group of unregenerate 18-30 yr olds on how to "have church". "Listen to what they listen to". This is ridiculous.

  • What the crap did they just say? I feel dumber.

  • What was the question? Where am I? When did Jimmy Neutron hair make the move to actual humans? This is exactly why the American church has lost its lampstand, so to speak.

  • The only differnce between this video clip and Donald Southerland on Animal house describing the infinite nature of the atoms in his fingernail, ..is that I laughed at Donald Southerland...but no longer,... his fingernail atoms have coalesced into Dan Kimballs hair. This is total new age blather-de-gook

  • This is a whole lot of stupidity. While most of it makes no sense at all, the bits that did are basically saying that young, unsaved people should be the ones deciding what their own spiritual church experience should be like, and all the older, mature saved ones are supposed to listen to them and craft a fleshly service for them? What a bunch of unbiblical tripe. Wake up true Christians, the wolves are climbing over the fences and you are doing nothing!

  • What in the world are you talking about?
