@EndlessaurusRex Im sorry that 93.09 Parviainen is probably true. But I know another Finnish thrower had thrown 96,...something with a modified javelin.
@EndlersaurusRex You are wrong, many of the throwers who threw over 93m had modified javelins which discualifies their results. I am not 100 percent sure, but I know that with the current javelin configuration no one has thrown over 93 meters
@frankmccrystal746 don't have to be that far. Zelezny really throws relax in this whole video, there is no point is trying to be fast when you're training technique. So maybe they are just 60m or so, but who cares, love for Zelezny anyways!! =D
What great video! Amazingly efficient: essentially non-reverse throws from a full run. Not many throwers ever got so much of their runup into the spear without the need to step over. thanks for this.... it will help many athletes improve!
I don't imagine you can wear a belt in competition

60-70m is pretty good for a guy thats has like 10 back surgeries. He really throw's the jav through the grip, i gotta work on that.
Mrich619 1 year ago
Anybody who know how far these throws are going ?
Fushraxen 1 year ago
@Fushraxen just a guess, but i would say the later throws where he is putting in more effort maybe are 60-70m
engelteir 1 year ago
@Fushraxen
with just a 5-6 step probably late 50s and early 60s and the later ones 70s :S
